Honestly I would want to fill the whole thing up with passages, corridors, farms, utility areas, builds. But if you have a cool design idea, that would be fun to build because you actually want to do it. If you want to feel like your megabase is never too big for you, make sure to add detail so no parts ever feel useless (ofc that would take a lot of time). Personal suggestion: build a giant maze, and decorate it well such that its not all confusing, but also fun. (Add some interesting aspect to it, like making the walls glass)

brooo thx for the vig (great ooìne btw) I was building a main storage myself and digging out a 1k perimeter for it. Little did I know that the machine was too laggy for my laptop to handle and I had already dug out all of the trenches. now I know that little world eaters work well even if not ea efficient

It is called "Distant Horizons". It allows you to set your render distance above the normal amount however it will slowly decrease the detail on the chunks, making it easier to run. If you want this mod though, you have to make sure your computer can run atleast 16-20 chunk render distance without lag. AsianHalfSquat made a video on it if you want more info and a download link.

I'm building a perimeter in my survival world, and to make smooth walls I had to manually dig by hand out trenches around the perimeter, and then pour water down them to protect the walls from tnt. How did you get smooth walls just by using only tnt dupers?

the trenches were the right size to that they were one block out of range of the tnt thats why they were flat

I wonder if he will design the chest hall all by himself or just use a design made by someone else? I'm 50 hours in designing my own one that will be able to fit in a sphere with 50 blocks radius. Currently it can sort 420 different items and i still have a long way to go
