2014 - 2016 was the best time in CSGO The classic maps, the Vibe in General. It was awsome.

Even before CS2's official announcement, this video hit a lot of us like a brick wall of emotions... so when CS2 officially takes over, I'm prob going to cry like Pimp did on stream lol. CS2 will likely be amazing too, but CSGO's memory will be loved forever. I'm going to miss CSGO so damn much :')

CS truly is special, every time I occasionally boot up the game again it's like meeting an old friend and nothing has changed. Barely play anymore but I still remember smokes, I still know how people play, and sprays are second nature. I think so many of us fell in love with CS cause it was so competitive at times it felt like a sport, the game was so simple the skill floor is in hell and the ceiling has yet to be found. I'm just now realizing how much I miss playing with my team, we were terrible no idea how we managed to get out of open but those guys made me laugh so hard it hurt. So many of my friends stopped playing because of the map pool changes myself included. Wouldn't say I'm in the community anymore so Idk if we're just boomers but everyone I still talk to who played quit or cut back playing because of that alone. To guys who have been around since the tec-9 was a rifle taking out classic maps like Train, Cobblestone, Cache, and now Dust II and replacing them with mediocre new ones is just lunacy.

The nostalgia and goosebumps this video gave me I cant even explain. glad this came up in my recommended. it was the best era of csgo, I used to go to my cousins place to watch tournaments but they've all grown up and busy with jobs and we all know we would do anything to live those moments again. I think about those days fondly - waking up at noon and grinding ESEA pugs, watching tarik/dazed/steel stream FPL, that amazing C9 run in summer 2015 (when I'm C9 video lmao), etc. Even all these years later as an adult, I wish I could go back to those days sometimes.

I remember when everyone wanted s1mple to come back to liquid, and when players like kennys, olof, Get_Right, pasha, ect were household names in the community. I remember everyone wishing swag would get unbanned after the ibuypower scandal. I miss the various op metas involving tec 9s and cz. I wish I could go back

my friends all play valorant now so so do I but man do I miss cs sometimes, it just feels so right everything has been tweaked and balanced over a decades to a point that valorant feels too plastic and clunky at times

I didn't play csgo back in the day, didn't even own a pc. but i always watched content for it. didn't even know i knew so much about csgo culture until now

I felt many things about this video but most apparent one is despair. Despair that these times won't come back, that we'll never expierence these things again like the first time however that makes me happy, all of those things we've been fortunate enough to expierence all those moments, every emotion that has come with them. I sure hope that i won't forget these memories.
