I miss my dad everyday but live with the pain of knowing his last 6 years on earth I was angry because I felt the wrong parent died first. Having said that my dad was my hero but my mom was my world and I was just hurting

43 years old I lost Dad 3 years ago. I still wasn't old enough to handle it the way he did when he lost his parents. But i try to set a good example for his grandkids.

I still have my dad, that man made me who I am today. My mom committed suicide when I was 12 I’m 29, but being a state away I miss my dad every single day.

I'm sorry bud my dad was my hero my mom walked out on us when I was 11 bud cancer took them both the the same cancer took both

I'm 1800 miles away from my dad and his health is declining at 56, lots of surgeries, lots of pain. I dread the day I get the call, being so far away idk what I'd do when I get that call. I wish I never do

My mom died of an overdose/ suicide when I was 12. My dad died when I turned 18, 6 years ago, cancer. Didn’t really know my mom but my dad was my best friend in the entire world. He trained a puppy for 2 years to leave as my new bestie. Now I still have him, his names “ruff-ruff” I know he named him that on purpose. When he ran off and wandered in his younger years, I would look like a crazy person barking and yelling ruff into the wind🤦‍♀️ wish he could meet his son in law and our beautiful babies…

Iwas told he was gave to much morphine for his cancer but i just hope jesus takes it all in his hands
