It has already been a month since I randomly moved to Guadalajara, Mexico. I love the city and am constantly discovering new parts of it to explore. This video shows what exploring I've been up to since I moved here!

if you know Spanish and English you can easily become a high school teacher in mex even teach at a University all you need is to pass a test and take a few teaching classes and you got a job no freaking bachelor s or master degrees like in the USA

JR Not true at all! I tried to do that and they all told me I needed a teacher's degree, so I got a job in Teletech, as a bilingual interpreter, in a call center in Guadalajara.

Welcome to Mexico! I truly hope you enjoy its awesome beauty, history and culture. Also, you should explore more states! (If possible, of course) I could suggest Oaxaca, Chiapas, Hidalgo, Puebla, Baja California Sur and Veracruz! Have a wonderful time here! 😊

Not anymore - I normally live in countries for about a month at a time, and then travel onward. I lived in Mexico for almost 4 months though - loved it there so much!

How exciting!! What brings you to Mexico? Is this a permanent move or temporary? How are you enjoying the food? (Sorry so many questions!)

No problem - I love your questions, Erin! :D The move is temporary, but we'll be here for three months total, until the end of August. The food is great, but occasionally too heavy and greasy for me. :( We came here pretty randomly. We actually pulled out a map of the world in Greece and tried to decide where to go! Mexico won, obviously.

Yes, pretty cheap! A full meal is about $5 is U.S. dollars, and about $1 or less for a nice, big cup of coffee. :D
