As a New Yorker, seeing him do the things that I’ve done for years has either been really painful, or he’s managed to surprise me by how well enough he’s adapting sor far- well, as far as Tommy can adapt

As a New Yorker, Tommy saying “I’m walking here” was the most painful thing ever to watch. The cherry on top would’ve been him slamming down on the hood of the car.

I think I speak for all Americans here when I say I almost died of second hand embarrassment when he said I’m walking here

I really shouldn't laugh given the events in the UK but at 3.40 when he says "God save the... king?" I couldn't help a snort. Tommy's open enthusiasm for everything he's doing is wonderful and it always lifts me up. He and Jacksepticeye are my two favourite youtubers for that reason - they're loud, funny and very warm in everything they do. Would love to meet them some day.

as a native new yorker this is both tremendously painful and hilarious to watch. Also the hot dog cart guy definitely overcharged you, most street carts will overcharge when they sell to people who are so obviously out of town, especially if you're in the more tourist-y areas like central park, times square, or union.

As a New Yorker, a couple pieces of advice: always check the weather and dress accordingly (removable layers are a nice option). generally it’s not a super great practice to feed the squirrels or birds, there’s a reason they’re so brave. Be careful on the subway, it’s crowded, hot, and can take you literally anywhere, so always pay attention to your stop. Don’t approach people sleeping on benches in parks, the subways, or anywhere else; chances are they’re not in a good mindset. Excited for the series, and the charity idea is wonderful!

As someone who knows that NYC *_isn't_* the friendliest places in the world, Tommy doing these stuff, especially the fundracer is just shocking.

This was the most painful and inspiring thing to watch. Like, on one hand I could never go to a new city and make a huge production out of everything I do, but watching him just be very out there is encouraging. (long story short I am very introverted lmao)

Can we appreciate Tommy for going through all of the things he has does for us? He has done so much for content, he has gone through pain,embarrassment, judgement, but has also gone through the good as in seeing new ppl,hanging out with friends, and much more! And he does all of this to meet Schlatt- what I don't think he realizes is that there are millions of people who feel the same way about him and idolize him. Everyone slowly coming over to the U.S. has gotten me to a point of excited shaking every time their mentioned, just because I know that there's a chance I could run into one.
