Great flame , spark and heat methods with tinder and tinder making tools :D I keep a larger tin in my longer term bag to make larger amounts of char material while looking out for stuff that holds/catches a spark well ( cat tail or sponge like punk wood) The more one can use smaller sparks or less strikes with a heat method like solar/friction , the longer the resources could go for.

Creative Redundancy definatly always keeping a "opossum mentality". I would definatly carry more but at the end of this series i want to actually fit all this into a reasonable size pack, so it has definatly restricted me some. Great comment! Thanks brother.
