I connect with these lyrics so much. I’ve been in relationships where I don’t think I really loved them in the way you should love a romantic partner because, well, I later found out I’m a lesbian and I was dating dudes (we love comphet!…not), but these lyrics really hit for me in a lot of ways. Back then I feel like I entered these relationships because I felt I was obligated to, but also because I was lonely and had low self-esteem. I’ve been single for 3 years now, which I made that decision consciously because I knew I needed time to myself to figure out how to heal and be more comfortable with myself. I’m now at a point that me three years ago wouldn’t believe, I’m super proud of how much I’ve grown in these last three years. But these lyrics remind me of my old self, and I really feel for her

I feel it's ok to... just for a minute... to be happy about the person who played you getting their karma. But then just make sure you don't dwell on it and forgive them. Make sure you don't forgive them for their sake... but for your sake. Once you've forgiven someone for your own mental health, sanity and release them from being a negative part of your thoughts and life, then you are free. They're not free... you are. But hell yeah it's nice to have a good chuckle at their downfall after what they put you through. Just don't dwell on it and look in the mirror and say to yourself "damn... you just dodged a bullet you handsome son of a gun 😉". Lol

love your opinions on relationships tbh. people who can't be single for more than two weeks.......why. learn who you are outside of someone else! date people who you're crazy for and don't settle! no taking people back who hurt and use you! for me personally, cheating is a one-and-done, zero second chances, because everyone i know who has cheated has done it over and over and over again. falling out of love is okay, just leave them if you're not happy it's sooooo simple. i love some good ol' schadenfreude OOOOOH boy i love it, so don't feel bad in reveling in that a bit lmao
