I nearly crashed my SINNIS Terrain T125 and why you should buy a Quadlock

I've finally sorted out my audio 🙌 in today's video I go back to a place I found in the rain and give my Sinnis Terrain T125 a bit of a scare around a tight corner, get caught talking to myself and tell you why getting a Quad Lock is the only real option when it comes to phone mounts. Right now no-one is reading this except you so.... here's a little Easter egg..... .....when I hit 1k subs (in a very long time) I'm going to do a give away, but I don't want reward the newbies (they'll get their own) I want to reward the loyal ones. all you have to do is put a time stamp of your favourite part of the video and what you liked about it (e.g. 0:00 I liked the bit with the bike) and you will be entered into a giveaway in the future. if you mention this in the comments you will be disqualified. The first rule of Fight Club..........
Enjoy 😉

Nobody likes the wet patch. Have you got off road tyres yet? Give the Metzeler Karoo's a whirl. When off roading on the GS I preferred to keep the top box on and take the panniers off. Makes the bike narrower and you don't damage them in the inevitable drop.
@CuriousGoose

No tyres yet, I don't have the money. Sizing is a real problem for the front wheel. Like I say in the video I want TKC80s but I've just seen that Pirelli Scorpion Rally STRs are under £100 each. I still don't have the money but I'm definitely considering them for when I do. I'll have a look at the Karoo when I get home.

It's got to be said your skills all around are improving, audio is hundred times better and you seem to be getting more confident with yourself. I have to agree with the quad lock, so many others recommend ram but I think it looks god awful and bulky. Top work man keep it up, can't wait for the next adventure my dude. Every ride is a lesson and I've learnt a lot in a short time. I need to get out on some long winding roads like on your channel. Are you going to do a Great Ocean Road trip at some point? I personally know how beautiful that road is especially the little roads off it to the camp sites. I miss Oz.

Nice little lane there! Speed limits - the clue is in the name: a *limit* not a *target* Seems a nice bike. My CBF125 had forks that were way too soft and divey. Also OEM tyres are always horrible, so changing them should improve things for you.

I couldn't hit 60mph on that road if I had a rocket strapped to my side. It was all slow speed riding but 10K RPM makes it seem faster as well as the wide angle lense. It's just a question of money with the tyres and I'll have to wear these in a bit first, the misses would skin me if I replaced brand new ones. I watched that ride from so many different perspectives I didn't know who did what 🙈

Should I buy the Sinnis terrain or a honda cb125f. what do you guys think
@CuriousGoose
@CuriousGoose 3 жыл бұрын
They're two very different machines so it's not a comparison I would make. The Sinnis has more road presence with luggage and crash bars and the CB125F is smaller so easier to filter traffic. What are you going to use the bike for?
@martinschneider8780
@martinschneider8780 3 жыл бұрын
@@CuriousGoose well, I live in London and it would be my first bike to learn. plus I think I would like to travel a bit. do you think honda would be more reliable and durable ? or are they both more or less the same in quality? the sinnis seems more advanced and nice on paper
@CuriousGoose
@CuriousGoose 3 жыл бұрын
@@martinschneider8780 okay then in that case I'd get the Sinnis and take the panniers and crash bars off but leave the top box on. That way you can still filter like a CB125F but when you want to go on an adventure stick it all back on and off you go. There are other bikes to consider though. Zontes have a nice range atm and the build quality is definitely there and you get 15hp. I particularly like the ZT 125 G1 but you don't get luggage and the crash bars look like a sex toy. If you want a used bike and you're tall I'd go for a Honda XL125 Varedero.
@jamiedanks8633

@@martinschneider8780Honda cb125f is lighter and better for traffic. Also less likely to break. But the terrain is admittedly better for country lanes + offroad
