I usually don’t comment on videos but I do realize it’s just as important to give you positive feedback as it is to give views- especially since people tend to leave comments when they are upset, skewing your own perception of how people are receiving your videos. Your videos are amazing, they have helped me tremendously in my hair journey (I also have extremely tangled hair 🙈) and the amount of research and control/experimental studies is completely unparalleled in the world of content creation. I saw some comments on IG when you posted the IT cosmetics video and I had no doubt in my mind that you would never sponsor and item without being upfront - nor would you think/want to photoshop. It wasn’t even questionable to me. Keep doing you and try to not engage with or read comments on TikTok or IG, know you always have supporters that may not be the loudest but are definitely the most loyal 💗

So sorry for the loss of your grandma! I’m also sorry that you went through that experience with the pictures of your mom. I appreciate you so much, especially all of the effort you put in to be articulate and honest. It does not go unnoticed! One thing I did want to mention, I know you’ve mentioned talked your education so that it might be more applicable to cosmetic chemistry. While I’m no content creator, I am in my fifth year of a PhD. Before you continue your education, please do some exploration into the toxic environment that graduate school can be. Listening to your anxiety about being constantly attacked is reminiscent of my experience in grad school. Mine is just one experience, but something to consider if you do decide graduate studies are the right thing for you ❤️

I love this style of video, Abbey, and really enjoyed you taking us behind the scenes of what it's really like to be a content creator. From the outside it looks glamorous and fun even knowing there's tons of work involved! I'm not a short form kinda gal so even tho I follow you on IG I'm almost never on that platform and don't even have TikTok! It makes me sad to hear how aggressive people are and how they can jump to conclusions without really knowing you. Hang in there and take good care of yourself ❤

Aw, I love the idea of that picture of your grandmother hanging in your office! I inherited my grandmother’s piano and think of her every time I play it, and I have a picture of her at 18 sitting at the same piano hanging right next to it - it brings me so much joy! On another note - I saw that TikTok and the results are so impressive I really might have assumed it was photoshopped if I was seeing it from a creator I didn’t know or didn’t trust, but it was YOU and so I didn’t even consider that as a possibility for a moment, because I know you and trust you and understand how important honesty and integrity is to you. You’ve made that so abundantly clear in how you go about everything on your channel ❤

You can never make everyone happy….don’t react to them,it’s not healthy… You are such a genuine person. Yes I don’t really know u but it’s very obvious…u are so sweet & lovable. I find that when I watch one of those-I’m left w/so many questions, know they’re full of product placement or sponsored. There is even a small group of young, married influencers who flood my feed that are using their births, infertility, adoptions as the base of their content and at the end of the video you find out every product-down to the brand of pregnancy tests they use are sponsored. So, please stay off those platforms and stick w/your tribe! We love you-good luck w/the new therapist!

I hope this is a helpful comment for you Abbey. You are one of the few creators I actually trust! I really love your content and how thorough you are with your research. You've been very helpful to me and I enjoy your personality as well. Last, but certainly not least I want to offer my condolences to you and your family on the loss of your grandmother. I lost someone close to me in a similar way. You are right, it's really hard to process the loss when you've barely processed the illness. It's like a double whammy. Praying for you 🙏🏻
