From 1505 to 1791 Oran was a Spanish city, and walking through its streets we can find many places and buildings that still keep the legacy of those almost three centuries. Just 200 km from Almería, it is estimated that at the end of the 19th century almost 100,000 Spanish emigrants lived here.
The Fort of Santa Cruz, the Puerta de España or the Plaza de Toros are examples of this. In this video I take a walk through the bullring, recently opened to the public, in 2019, after being closed for 60 years.
