I had a fine time when I was in Songea, I hope to return & maybe reach Mbamba Bay next time. The south of TZ is sadly overlooked by most visitors as is the colonial history & maji maji rebellion.

maji maji war... fun fact we had beaten the germans the war before that but we failed the maji maji war and one of the reasons is rumoured to be that the witch doctor who lied and fooled the soldiers was actually bribed by the germans!
