They would care. They won’t say it, but it’s the same as you at work finding out your college who does the same job gets double what you get. Luckily Virgil has just renewed his contract otherwise he’d be after a lot. Who knows, maybe Virgil has a clause to match the highest earner? That causes huge issues. It’s been done before.

If im not wrong there's the documentary about when Salah come to Liverpool, he put the number down significantly about criminality and muslim abuse etc (im not from the city n not muslim as well) but from that we can see how positive the vibe he had around him. He strive to be the best at Liverpool, even he already right now he just want to improve everytime, thats elite mentality, hope he get the contract he deserved because at this moment for me there's no one on the same level with him (the consistency, work rate, impact) that he did from 3 season ago until now.

And no, not all players can just rock up to Billy Hogan asking for ridiculous packages. You have to earn it and no one can argue Mo hasn't. I understand both sides of the issue and just hope they reach a fair agreement.

I've been watching Mo play since the beginning of 2017-18 season. Its sick how many times he has proved that his ability with the ball while cutting inwards, is at the top level. Its right there. Since that season, bearing a few hiccups here and there he has been consistent throughout. To add, now he has improved his tracking back and all that given the way Liverpool plays. Great to see the attention Mo is getting these days.

I remember when I used to insist Mane was our best winger from an all round attacking and defending perspective.. Now the way Salah ALWAYS gets back to a right back position when we're defending puts him miles ahead of Mane who seems to have lost an edge over the past year or so

I was following him closely when he played for AS ROMA. I watched the one when he scored from near opponent net side made almost a half of circle curve which is almost impossible to create and Totti which was not played at that time was smile watching that match. I knew when he decided to move to Liverpool he will become one of the best player Liverpool ever had.

SALAH IS THE MOST RESPECTFUL AND HUMBLE PLAYER IN THE WORLD! People rave about his goals against City and Watford, but when looking back he has scored various goals along the same lines, finishing with either his left or right. This isn't him suddenly becoming a great player, he has been so for many years, and I hope many more. I've followed Liverpool for over forty years, and have seen many greats. But none are better than Mo, and only a bitter person would say otherwise. This man needs more respect he deserves. Liverpool, give him what he wants!!

I know Salah is level headed, but I really want him not to pay a lot of attention to the buzz media has created these days around him being the best. Because these are the people who will be the first to turn against him when he misses a couple of chances. That being said, let's get him the best contract offer he deserves.

Torres and Suarez did everything they could to help the club win - the Club /Management wasn’t strong enough to build a title winning side Under Klopp players who Liverpool would never have been in for and instead gone for more modest league experience players or younger up and coming players - Now Liverpool can compete with anyone for the world’s best players Even first time around when Salah went to chelsea liverpool never really properly went in for him and he would have been a great signing then. But when he was 25 he was just at the right point for Liverpool to pounce in at £36.9M and help him become the player he has become - Just Wow YNWA

we have a wage structure at the club , it is in place so we never again go back to the days of gillette and hicks , facing bankruptcy , as good as mo is and he is an amazing player the club comes first , i hope the negotiations on his contract are agreeable to all concened , but lets be fiscally sound , he will get a great contract and the continued love of all who love Liverpool FC , but we should not head down the route of the moneybags clubs , as that will break us financially
