Next time when you use the Instant Future, $500 bet will pay more on the lower denomination. On 10 cents denomination buying the bonus for $500 is like getting the bonus on bet x1. On lower denomination $500 bet is compered to getting bonus on bet x5 for example. That is why you were getting $2.8 coins.

Spoiler alert: I have come to learn that when those orb reels spin, if there is one reel that shows no orbs flashing by (the reel usually moves around every spin) then you will never fill the reels and the Grand will not hit. That's why even though you had 3 spins left on that last reel about 6:00 and 13:00 they all showed blanks on every spin. If you look at all the games from the beginning again, there is always one reel that shows no orbs.

A little hint for link lowers : In The link games which grand prize depends on full screen of numbers, when the last empty space reel is turning without any number in it, it means it will not give the grand prize. You can spin it forever. if it didnt show any numbers while turning dont expect any grand. If you are good and quick observer, you can get it from the first spin of bonus game. Was playing Raging Rhino at Montréal Casino and had a choice of buying a $10 $20 or $50 bonus. Chose $50 and got 50 free spins on the wheel. To make a long story short ended up with a total of 77 free games and ended up winning $44. The person next to me was min. betting @ $.80 got 8 free games and won $480. Machines Go figure 😮😮
