Friend Tom, once again you surprise me with the tests you do on the vehicles, keep it up because you know how to give the most interesting point of each review. Incidentally, on 11/1/2019 I reached the maximum speed of 64.5 km / h with my HPI Racing Ken Block WR8 FLUX, traveling a total distance of 6.2 km. A greeting from Barcelona!

@@TomleyRC I took the feiyue fy01 and put a banggood 540 and the spur from an a979b and it is a beast. I did have to upgeade the transmission to metal gear but it is loads of fun now.

I like these little ralley cars alot. Thanks for sharing 7 minute ish part I especially liked. The grass looked the most fun. Would be a blast to get one of these on a golf course.

Yes, they do some 'dirt' tyres, so I think them and a nice grassed/dry area would be ideal!

Heya Phil, I just had a very outside-the-box idea. It started by wondering how to get just 1 more mph. It goes like this: Motors get warm. As their temp increases, so does their resistance. A quick cooling of the motor, say from spraying it directly with butane, or some other cold, gas propelled canned vapour (obviously remove the battery) creating frost on the motor case - removing that much heat could potentially give you an increase. If you don't do it, I'm certainly going to test the idea.

we used to run cloth motor socks and get them wet, they start steaming to dissipate heat fast at about 190 degrees.

That's a really good idea you know. Could be operated via a servo for remote cooling etc .

Good idea Al... I have just been given permission to use about 300m of smooth wide tarmac, so that would be a good test to do there as it will be a nice consistent test.

@@modelnutty6503 When I saw temps above 170, I started getting nervous. Talked to lhs, they said 'let it reach 200'. Naw F-ing way. I started building my own cooling systems after that & was getting much better speeds & acceleration at 120 degrees or less.

sounds like full speed down force deceleration is stuffing the air dam into pavement, maybe give the fronts (shock collars) a little more preload. not happening when you're in the throttle with weight shifting back, its only when its slowing. nice little rocket tho! 1:57 looks like the clip in type spring collars, got a pair a little thicker? can also wrap top of shock body 1 turn 2 mm solder then pull springs back to click the collar back in. ride height wont change, it'd stiffen it up just a little bit.

Yes it needs some thicker oil and the springs stiffening up front. It's ok if you are gentle on the brake, but I didn't have much run off. But then....... I kinda like the softness of it, has quite a 'scale' look about it

22T? AFAIK HPI only has 16T an 17T option parts, beside the stock 15T

Yeah, i think i bought it for my Limitless/Infraction but realised it was the wrong shaft size... but fits the HPI find. It says 19T on the box so I presume they must do a 19T?
