Pig "N" Jig. (Zoom salty chunk or uncle josh's #11 pork frog) for trailer. Arke jig 1/4, 1/2, 5/8 (lightest conditions allow) It's what I need to practice, because I usually feel 2 bumps when I fish with it! The 1st bump is the fish picking up the jig, and the 2nd bump is me, smacking myself in the head, because I didn't set the hook in time!....FishOn...jimi

Quick tip! After your cast with a glide bait don’t let it sink too long… usually they look up to eat them so just start your retrieve… same for magdraft. Love the vid!

When you have a follow, stop the lure and pop the rod to cause the glide to spin around and face the fish. They swallow fish by the head most times and when you stop and pop the rod, it will spin it and cause the bass to instantly take the lure. Watch for the gills to flare out for the hit.

Your frustration with glidebaits, is my frustration with soft plastics in general.

"for god did not give us a spirit of fear, but rather one of power, love, and self-discipline" 2 Timothy 1:7 caught my pb on a White chatterbait like the first day after I bought it, I was hyped, it was a 3 maybe a 4. that day I had only caught one other baby bass, I mean smaller than a bluegill small, with a nightcrawler and hook, which made made my overall bass catches at 5 or 6. the first bass I ever caught I hooked on my friends fishing rod, it was on a nightcrawler and bobbers and since it wasn't my rod I gave it to him to reel in so I always said it was his bass. but it was a nice one, 2 peaking 3 with some length on it too. but after feeling the hookset, a nice bass can give you, I was like nah bro I gotta target these fish. which I wasn't new to bass fishing, I had seen KZfaq videos, I was like 17, and I had fished for bluegills before, but accidentally catching that bass hooked me into the idea of targeting bass. I just had no idea how to fish them or where to start, but I did, I think first trying with like a spinner bait just cuz it was the coolest looking lure to me. I didnt catch anything with it, its also a Walmart brand one so go figure, its no boo-yah, so I stopped fishing. then picked it up again like last year, im 21 now. after that first bass I didnt catch another bass till last year when I bought a popping frog and a blooper style topwater lure, which I had no faith in btw, I just thought it looked sick in bone. I went to a park, first or second cast with the frog and boom it gets hammered coming off a grass mat. bro this fish was a 2 but hit my rod like lightning. I pull him out. keep fishing couple hours later switch to the bone topwater popper, ozark trail if you want to see what it looks like. and as im popping it on the top water, a bass just slams it, and I reel it in hyped af. didnt know id catch one on the frog much less a popping frog much less a bone topwater lure. few weeks later I hit freedom park here in Charlotte, and on the same lure get hit coming off a pylon in the water, the fish slams it as I pull the top water popper underwater, giving it a good, spooked baitfish action, then I reel it in landing my 4/3 ever bass if you dont count the one on my friends rod. so then I go to lake fisher. in Kannapolis, NC, pretty awesome if you have a trolling motor. im with some guys I just met in the parking lot, ive got a baby bass already, then get absolutely mollywhopped on a chatter bait, on a drop, I literally thought it was a rock and then said nope thats a fish, slammed it back, the fish ripped, jumped, I brought it in, new pb, new total bass catches:5/6/7 5 if you dont count the one on my friends gear, 6 if you do, and 7 cuz I think I caught like a literal 4 inch bass one time while fishing for bluegills. anyways back story over ive caught fish on a topwater popper, a popping frog, a chatter bait, and a hook and nightcrawler. next im probably going to slow down and take my time working entire pond structures with jigs, I also just homemade a fly on a decent sized hook so im going to catch bass on it for sure. im set to slam one on a spinner bait, so ill be throwing those too, Texas rigs are tough but im going to work those as well maybe not as much but definitely. also got a yo-zuri craw I believe ill start hooking big ones on soon, definitely pulling out the chatter-bait when it calls to me. I want hard swimsuits so bad but Im probably not gonna drop money on swimsuits rn lol, hard ones anyway, hey unless I see the opportunity, I believe if you ever have the opportunity to buy a bait it Will happen.
