I know this is not the norm for women and my kids make fun of me, BUT one of the beautiful things about getting older is you just don't need as many pieces of clothing. I spend a ton of time outdoors so most of my outdoor gear is good quality and lasts 5-20 years, regular clothing is purchased at consignment stores at 1/3 of the cost!
Note, my work clothing is casual, jeans skirts etc, if you have to dress professionally, this probably won't work.
