I feel the same way. I’ve always said that the Show is the only sports game I can lose in and confidently say I was better than the guy I lost too. The worst part is giving up bad timing hits for 2 hitters, then he finally makes a good swing and your down 3 runs.

I do think perfect user inputs resulting in outs is not actually a problem. As annoying as it can be, it's literally one of the most realistic things in this game. The hardest hit ball of the statcast era was a *122 mph* lineout. Shohei Ohtani hit a 119 mph foul last month. That's baseball, baby! But I get that for people who are much better on the sticks than I am they're getting a lot more perfect-perfects, which means also a lot more perfect-perfect outs, and I understand that that can be extremely frustrating. I just personally think that it's a good kind of frustrating because that's just how baseball is. Not at all calling you an asshole for being frustrated by it, it totally makes sense to get extra annoyed when you already had a couple of other things that you were frustrated at and that shit compounds. Just wish they'd reduce foul balls and expand the strike zone so you don't go from a frustrating inning pitching to the immediate perfect-perfect lineout, which makes it feel way worse than it actually is PS: Sorry for so many comments I just have Thoughts™ about games

If your hitting camera is more far away from the strike zone you will be more rewarded with hit on good swings. If you don’t believe, try it using fish eye against strike zone 2 o strike zone high

fuzzy, you should play a franchise series rebuilding the guardians, feel like it would be way more fun than diamond dynasty. That way we get your input into actual MLB players, roster construction and also playing against the computer should be more enjoyable

I share your frustrations where I’ll be fully locked in one game and score 15+ runs and then can’t touch the ball the next. Might I make a suggestion? Having no center PCI like you do makes it very hard to square up to the ball - especially on lower difficulties as the PCI is larger.

Lol Fuzz ngl sometimes as a viewer its funny to just see rage gameplays even though it definitely affects gameplay negatively. But you should just lock in for a few days and try to make world series. I think a lot of people, myself included would love to see the series return. Switching the camera hitting view is a good idea as well. I think a combination of these two will help you become a better and more consistent player.

I would get back into MLB the Show but personally I feel like $70 is way too much for a game that becomes outdated a year later. It's a good game to play every once and a while but I just can't justify the price point.

Ik those pitches that look like strikes get called for a ball if ur the pitcher u can hold R2 or RT while ur pitching & it will show u that it’s barely a ball they should show it on the normal feedback it being more of a ball just saying but i think if the ball is touching any part of the strike zone it should be a strike

2:15 The pitch feedback image is really weird this year, it moves the ball about 1/5th of a baseball toward the center of the zone from where it is shown on the big strike zone when you hold down right trigger. Still hate that MLB the Show strikezone is "more than 50% of the ball must be in the zone" but, by that metric which is consistent with the last two years (at least), it *was* a strike, it's just the feedback image is fucky-wucky this year for some reason

ngl it sounds like you just want a gambling sim. it's baseball - you'll get lineouts, you'll get good inputs that are outs. The best players take that randomness, which is part of the game, and maximize their chances, as in the long run playing better will lead to better outcomes. Being the massive baseball fan that you are, you should know that. we appreciate you for making content, but if you're not having fun with the baseball-ish elements of mlb the show, it's prob time for a quick break.

Yes please complain Fuzzy. SDS needs to hear from their creators that this rendition of the game in its current state is just unacceptable. People that want you to just "have fun" enjoy getting smashed 20 - 0 every game because they're just that bad at the game. Pitching is impossible in this game. 89 or 99 overall pitchers get shelled and you can't pitch the corners at all. It's just....soul sucking man.
