Twilight Masquerade is the Newest Pokemon Card Main Series Set and is scheduled to release on Friday, May 24, 2024. This set is chalked for with some amazing Pokemon Cards from a competitive standpoint, and features some of the most incredible Illustration Rare Pokemon Cards we have ever seen.
While the Special Illustration Rare Pokemon Cards seem to be lacking a bit in Twilight Masquerade, I was still extremely excited to rip into it. Pokemon Card Pull Rates have created quite the stir in the Pokemon Card Community ever since the release of Temporal Forces. With pull rates becoming more difficult for Special Illustration Rares and Hyper Rares, I was extremely interested in cracking some packs to see if these changes stayed consistent with Twilight Masquerade Pokemon Cards, or if pull rates went back to how they used to be.
In today's video, we take our first look at Twilight Masquerade Pull Rates by ripping open an entire case of Twilight Masquerade Booster Boxes. This is the equivalency of 216 Twilight Masquerade Booster Packs and will give us a good start on our Twilight Masquerade Master Set. Do Pull Rates seem consistent with Temporal Forces? I know pull rates have changed since, but I probably opened atleast 2 cases for almost every set from xy base through unified minds. Majority of the time there was clearly a better case for pull rates and EV. What do you think is minimum amount of cases to open for accurate sample size for ev and pull statistics for set

I’m really interested in finding out what the large batch pull rates seem to be. It’s going to be interesting for the Master Set people if they continue to get less ultra rare hits per pack.

I only ever buy packs to collect as I enjoy the opening experience and the randomness to it. I've very rarely bought someones old collection or singles unless it's a good deal or something I really want. However, I still greatly appreciate your efforts to open so many packs and get a rough estimate of pull rates. It's really interesting information to know. I've never opened an Booster Box before but it's always fun to watch those as well.

I feel like this is actually the perfect set. Keeps the game fresh and give options to people whom play the game competitively...and gives the rest of us a chance to catch up and finish collecting goals from older sets

I've opened 6 booster boxes in total from SV base to Paradox rift and every single one had an SIR or more in them, so these Twilight Masquerade boxes (and Temporal Forces) seem a bit underwhelming.

I like the set. Ogerpon has become a fav since playing the DLC but the Ogerpon cards (except the promo) are kinda disappointing. But i have to see them in person!

I want you to do a video on booster bundles vs booster boxes with this set . But buy the booster bundles from different places . Do the same with the booster boxes . I do this all the time and hit more SIRs out of booster bundles then booster boxes . I have opened one booster box and only got 10 booster bundles and I have hit carmine , Perrin, and just hit graninja ex , teal mask ogerpon , evee and the red ogerpon card . So basically I got 5 sir out of ten booster bundles which is opening way less packs compared to booster boxes . But I always buy my booster bundles from target mainly and Best Buy but I mix it up and not buy all at the same place .

Men if all those booster boxes behind you are sealed, please for the love of god put them inside some acrylic protective cases.... A friend of mine lost a bunch of his collection when a pipe burst and he wasn't home. You have thousands of dollars in sealed products and your storage them in the worst way possible, one on top of another without any protection.

It’s definitely not just you overthinking Danny. It’s obvious that batching is a legit issue. I’ve had countless occurrences where I’ll get the same EX multiple times in the same product and/or the FA EX along with the same regular EX in the same product. Honestly has deterred me from opening much anymore. Great video as always!

I got 3 Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex ⭐️⭐️rare in one booster box with NO full arts, hyper rares, or SIR. 😢 I hope this isent the way booster boxes r from now on, if it is it probably makes more sense to buy sleeved packs or booster bundles?

There is no Masquerading this Toilete of a set! While there are 7 cards I absolutely love it's not worth buying any packs to me. I've actually felt this way about most of S & V except Base Set, Obsidian and 151. Saving me money at least since I was addicted to mastering sets! I'll just but the singles until I like a full set again or at least most of it! Thanks for the great video!

@@imabamafan20 I collect JP art rares for the exact reason that its 3 guaranteed ARs per box. 90% of the time you get skunked from a JP box & hit no SAR🤷🏽‍♂️ and so your Art rares really end up being the highlight of the box if you get no SAR. I really wish english Illustration rares were affordable

Now i dont see any point ripping sets after Paradox rift if you can get grifted by Ace Specs in future sets. I want art work. SIR's & SARs, guaranteed (3) Art rares or more. We do not want 4 pink ace specs after spending $166 (suggested Msrp) on it. Nuts

A miss except for a couple cards. That growlith-Lana paired cards are dope and that glitter technology promo card also looks dope. Pull rates look nasty, which makes me want to open packs even less. Can believe you have not pulled any of the Ogrepon SIRs, still have not idea whether they are heat or flops - I am also reserving my opinion till I see one irl or hear from someone whose seen one.

I feel like I remember hearing a few opinions here and there saying they're a bit mixed on the consistant "confirmed rarity" hits in early SV era sets (ex: 3 illustration rares, 1 SAR/gold, 1 tera EX, usually 3-4 regular EX, etc. per booster box), similar to how Japanese boxes *usually* have a confirmed hit rate of 8 hits per box, one of them being an SR or higher, and typically 3 illustration rares, 3 EXs and 1 tera EX. So if you open the first several packs of your booster box and already pull your 3 illustration rares, chances are you'd be like "oh, well now I know I won't get any more illustration rares for the rest of the box unless I'm super lucky." Or if you open half of your JP booster box and got 8 hits already, well high chances are the rest of your box will have nothing. So MAYBE Twilight Masquerade's weird inconsistant hit rates kind of changes that feeling??? I dunno, I'm just giving out my theory as to why it's so weird that you can get 4 ACE Specs, sometimes just one illustration rare, etc.
