The original Gold Series brings back crazy nostalgia to me. This was a PREMIUM product way back in the day. CCV upon release was $350+. Back then, $125/box was a huge amount on release. I recall as a kid getting two boxes and feeling like I was opening an INSANELY high end product.

That starlight pull was amazing and you guys seriously have to collab again and make Auction Series. The duels there were quite fun. Regardless, Gold Series is a hell of a product. You both are lucky to make an opening of it.

I still remember when the very first (this one) gold series came out and how excited I was. I stopped playing and sold all of my cards in 2008 and at the beginning of this year I just started collecting again. The gold series cards are some of the main cards I have been re-getting for my collection. This was an absolutely amazing opening, wow.

What a weird opening! A playset of breaker, swords of revealing light, needle ceiling, skill drain. But the warm up ended up overshadowing the main gold

I am one of the few folks that likes the Max Gold rarity, though admittedly the print errors are doodoo and I could live without the gold raised borders (but the gold borders I suppose have become a standard of gold series I've never been a fan of).

Bought 4 of the gold series at release from my local hobby shop, I let my buddy pick his 2 and i took the other 2. I pulled the CCV and was in shock. Had to sell it to pay some bills but I can always say I pulled it.
