Every case gets a number / item assigned at creation, this all happens back-end on valves servers with a PRNG, probably with some seed. Finding/knowing that seed + know about their case database could be stonks.

The cases are very likely RNG server sided, no way they'd let you reverse engineer their code to get any clue on what the case could open you.

Well, it worked! Bought 40 Snakebite cases and nothing. Bought 40 more and on the second I unboxed Sport Gloves Nocts, Minimal Wear. Have been trying to unbox a butterfly knife for ages. This worked really well. Thanks for the tip!

can I get some feedback on my theory? --> I feel like you're odds are better if you open cases dropped too you, like ur odds are set. and buying cases are buying cases in the middle of someone's odds, like if he is basically gonna open a knife is 150 cases and you bought the 80th case dropped too him. ur chances of getting a quality skin by buying skins is lower then only opening dropped cases. lmk but opening a few cases every now and then vs opening dropped cases I feel like ive gotten above a blue more on the dropped cases
