As all others have said. The nostalgia is real with this one. I haven’t been this excited for a set in a long time. Even the holo energies was a nice surprise with the swirls!!

The masterball reverses added so much to the Japanese set. Can definitely say I’m disappointed they aren’t in the English set 😢

You can always count on the Pokemon company screwing over their biggest market. We buy three times as much product than Japan but always get a worse product and a worse quality. I'm really getting tired of it.

Pokemon 151 is pure nostalgia! Seeing Gen 1 Pokemon pop up reminds me of the time when I used to excitedly go to the store to buy packs in hopes of pulling any legendary Pokémon and then take them to school for secret trading 😂

@@sly8108 Are you trying to compare the value of a Pokémon card to a house or car? The point of my comment is to say that buying Pokémon cards for value is silly. You’ll never get your money back opening packs which is what I enjoy doing. So if I were to think I’m going to get monetary value by ripping packs is crazy. So I’d rather have better pull rates because it’ll increase my fun value and I couldn’t care less about the actual monetary value of each pull. I obviously don’t want it to be pointless easy to pull things but I don’t want it to be evolving skies either.

I haven’t collected Pokemon cards in at least 20 years. This channel popped up in my feed, and I started watching while I was revisiting leaf green. I’ve now opened 10 packs of 151 and it’s such a nostalgia trip. I scored a special illustration rare Squirtle today! Also I died when you yeeted the Mr Mime - my buddy got one and I told him he should rip it in half. Mr Mime is trash.

I almost bought a poke on 151 booster box today but I don't know much about the rarity of the cards lol I used to play red, blue and yellow. Loved the old school Pokémon shows.
