I have one in leather that is 25 years old and I can still buy all kind of inserts for it. I don't use it any more because of Smart phones and stores here do not need a card any more, you use your phone number. We can also pay almost everywhere with our phone. So today I only have 3 cards so I have in a very small purse with two rooms, one for the cards, one for the cash notes and a zipper on the back for coins.

Ouu I love this! I saw the one Alejandra had and loved that, but this is great! Love how you have that key chain for your keys and shopping list in there! Definitely going to be getting this together for myself this week! I half of the time don't need a whole purse either, but just stuck with my wallet, keys and phone too! If that booklet had a slot on the outside for a phone, it would be perrrrfect!!! Thanks for the video! :)

You can use the snap closure type clear dividers to hold your coins..they are similar to the clear card holders with holes that goes on the ring holders ..it snaps like a sandwich bag..only much stronger...and look for the organizers that have phone holders on the outside.

i have same wallet solution, i got the idea from Alejandra's channel as well. i absolutely luv it, i get compliments on it all the time. ...I got my business card holder from Staples for $10-12 for the Leather holder, there was cheaper vinyl one for $6.00. i went with leather one..:) i'll never go back to the conventional wallet ever again....;)

Good thought regarding, keeping the c/c facedown. Like yourself I am care giver, POA for my parents, (Mom's in a nursing facility) so like yourself I have cards for them as well. Thank you.

A suggestion for your phone issue is that you can Velcro the phone to the front or back : ) I'd suggest putting the soft part of the Velcro on the phone so that when you are holding it, it won't be so rough on your hand. Some plusses to this is that you can easily see who's calling you and you don't have to remove the phone if you have a Bluetooth, not to mention that you can also text without removing the phone also : )

Hreat idea! I found the perfect small purse for me at Staples of all places. The brand name is Buxton. They were selling them in black or hot pink for about $20 something. Then they were on clearamce for $11. The main compartment is just the perfect size for a Galaxy Note II and checkbook. It has places for some cards. A zippered pouch on inside and one on the outside. It has a removable shoulder strap long enough to wear across the body and a hidden wrist strap that pulls out for use.

Ce Ce, An idea for your phone. Use one of those plastic velcro pockets and just wrap a wide band around the binder to secure the phone. Just an idea. I used to have a binder which held a palm pilot. There is probably a binder out there that holds a planner and phone. Patricia

Hi CeeCee, what an AWESOME idea! My leather wallet has been broken for months now and I need something like this! I will check out Staples soon! On another note, don’t you ever put your phone in a protective case? I have mine in an Otter Box and (have always used them) love them! And on the back of the case I have a small “pocket” adhered that (it’s permanent) I can fit my Debit Card, drivers license, and some folded money into. It’s great! Plus my case is a pretty teal color, which makes it easy to find if you set it down and forget what you did with it! lol! Anyway, I love your videos, and am a fairly new subscriber! ❤️

also, make a belly band out of fabric that velcros. you can make a poket in the band to hold your phone. or they make camera bags or phone cases that will clip with your keys and phone is on outside both ways.

filofax has a clear zippered pouch that would probably fit, they also used to make organisers with a pocket on the front that would fit a cellphone

what a neat idea! I love it. I would make a pocket on the fromt for your cell phone or something like that. Maybe something you could attach like a clip or something so iti isnt there all the time when you don't need it. Just a thought!

they make zippered page that slip onto the rings. the bigger ones are to hold pencils etc in notebooks. But I have seen them made with 6 rings too.

How about a zipper lined envelope for your cell phone , I use one in my planner binder. I got them off amazon, one set was for A5, and A6.

This is just like a personal size planner like filofax or franklin covey so you could get one of them and the business card holders thats what i am doing because i really love the idea of it.

hi, Been trying to find the binder... checked Staples- from the post below but they no longer carry it. Help. Love the idea as my wallet looks like its going to burst. I cannot purchase a regular wallets as they simply cannot hold my cards etc. Please anyone if you have found this or something similar on Staples or office depot or anywhere. Thanks

great video! i really wan to go try this now! haha and just curious, have you figured out a solution for the phone yet? if not, then i was thinking maybe you could somehow make a snug pocket outside the binder either on the front or the back (since the back seems smoother) & you could put your phone in there so that way the binder isn't as bulky. i'm not sure how you would do this but maybe you could find a youtube video on it. but anyway, awesome video! i really enjoyed it! :]

Again, this was great, just a couple of thoughts, that notebook, I think it also comes as a zippered option and I think you can get a zip lock page that you could put inside for keeping your money in. Loved the idea of the clip & lanyard, and I think that I would actually clip it inside my handbag potentially for security reasons. One question did you place the c/c cards face down for the video or do you always have them face down for secure reasons? If always that way what method of ease of recognition do you use?

Hey Sherri! I haven't found the ziplock pages for that size of binder but I'll keep looking. It's a very good idea to store the loose change! As for the C/C, I just turned them over for the sake of the video. I leave them face up but if you want to leave yours face down, I would put a small circle sticker on the reverse of each with a different color. CC

If you're still looking for a way to store your phone in your wallet, why not make a DIY one? Amazon has those soft microfiber phone sleeves for really cheap (I've seen some for as low as $2-$4), and their real thin. Get one of those and hot glue it to a those plastic dividers and voila, instant phone pouch. Or one of those generic see through arm bands people use when they go running. Just punch a couple holes in the side and attach it to those binder rings. If anything, you can always get those zipper pouches that came w/ those Cambridge day planners back in the 90s. Amazon still sells them. Just some suggestions. Love your vid by the way.

I store all my store cards or rewards cards on an app called Key Ring so I never carry any actual cards anymore. It works great because you can take a picture of the front and back of the card and never have to carry anything besides your phone.

Once again, I'm copying your wonderful ideas! I found the business card pages that have 6 holes. I have a Day Timer small binder but it snaps rather than closes with a zipper. It's also old and rather beat up. I looked today at Staples and Office Depot but couldn't find a binder like yours that is small and zips up. What brand is it and where did you get it? I know it was over a year ago and you live in Canada as I live in a small town in Louisiana but would love to have one just like yours. Thx

Its me again.......I now have a similar to this...one...cz I loved yours... .BUT could I ask you...I never see the kind of purse u have.....? Cathy, I'm glad you're happy with your new wallet! As for my purse, it is my favorite and possibly the least expensive I've ever bought LOL The brand is BASS and I bought it over 5 years ago, possibly more, when I was visiting the outlet malls in North Conway, NH. It is now very faded as it is made of fabric and somewhat stained but I can't get rid of it... you know, like an old favorite pair of shoes. But seriously, it was really inexpensive. Max, I'm sorry but the binder came with a cardstock belly band that I threw away and there are no sku numbers on the actual binder, not even a brand name! So sorry and good luck! CC

I noticed yours is a 6 leaf binder? but then I think someone said....3 ring? do they sell these at STAPLES? and also the business card sheets? I want this....it would be great...thanks

Cathy, I bought my binder at Staples and it is a business card binder and it came with the sheets already. Unfortunately, there is no product number on the binder nor any brand - it was probably on the cardstock belly band that I got rid of after purchasing it. Sorry. I hope you find something similar! +creationsceecee Thanks for trying to help but nothing worked. I spoke to the Staples Product Concierge here & she couldn't find it either. She gave me an 800 # to call a Canada Concierge, saying they can see products in both countries, while she cannot. After I wrote you I realized this video is old so that may also be a factor.

Granted this was published in 2012, but even then, from a security standpoint, specifically ID theft, this is not necessarily the best way to "carry" your necessities. It is better suited for handling your "stuff" that you work with and leave at home. Don't carry rewards/loyalty cards with you. Give the cashier your phone number instead of their cute card. It is never a good idea to carry an over abundance of documentation about your entire life with you.

When they ask if you have their rewards card, or in their program, you simply state "Yes, I'm in it, but I don't have my card with me". Typically they will say 'I can look it up with your phone number'. If they don't know they can, you tell them 'Oh you can use my phone number'. Done. Purchase rewards counted! 😀

That's not a really good idea, it's a good solution but not a good idea, because if someones steals your purse, steals everything from you...and that's not good

Yes, that was my first thought too. Whilst it does make things more convenient for her with everything in one place, if someone steals her wallet they have her whole life with access to her bank and credit card accounts and even her address, with her keys helpfully attached as well! This probably sounds paranoid, but trust me, I never thought it would happen to me either. Until it did (and just before Christmas too) Now I make sure all my cards are in a separate cardholder in another pocket of my bag and my keys and even my Filofax wallet attached securely to hooks in my bag (by means of a special security cord obtained from my local police in my town)

+Mary Universe That's a really good point. The wallet is fantastic but good organising requires good planning needs to take into account risk factors such as the one you pointed out. Organising systems that aren't realistic or neglect risk factors aren't as well organised as they could be. I love the wallet and immediately wanted to copy it, but I'd need to adjust it in light of your point.
