He had built a lovely retirement home too in Migori but he left with nothing. He says if he knew things would turn out this way he wouldn't have allowed the silence to ruin his marriage.

Wow my condolences to him and the family. I believed through him narrating the story, there were some red flags that was missed due to the cool war which was happening in silence btn him and his wife. The son was fighting in silence whilst needed perhaps their help. Hmm African father most don’t build up intimate relationship with their children because of our culture’s perhaps. I pray that we all learn from this than regretting later than being there for our children.

It's so saddening to see so much sympathy for this man in the comments. Anyone who knows anything about Covert Narcissists can see all the red flags. The fact that he went into a new relationship that soon after leaving his wife is a major red flag. When a woman goes quite trust me she is in so much pain that putting it into words is impossible. Alot of what I'm hearing is the story of my life and marriage,, I'v been on antidepressants for 23 years. My husband is a saint to everyone out there, very quiet, humble and generous. Only me and my kids know the monster he tirns into behind closed does.

Unresolved conflicts or rather sweeping issues under the carpet killed my marriage the moment it started. Marriage is about communication, once it breaks then you are done. May God heal your hearts for the loss. I hope you can sit down and reconcile as we also wait for the lady's right of reply.

What a wonderful message to families from a personal story of pain and tragedy. Indeed this gentleman has taken full responsibility on his part which is a rare gesture today.

I respect this man for being honesty for what happened to his marriage..thanks for being an African black man who highlighted the major issues which makes a marriage soar..If couples put God first..all these problems will be solved and continue with a normal health relationship...A teaching to all us ..a powerful testimonial discussion l enjoyed to listen to

I salute you George and I wish all married couples would listen and watch this video. What I have learned from you is that you are very humble human being. What is trash for somebody else is a TREASURE for someone else. So wish my ex husband would listen to this message because he was very selfish and abusive when we were still staying together. Hoping that you find peace and closure in your new chapter and God gives you the right direction to move on with your life. What I know is that life goes on.

You can’t change anyone in marriage. After 14 years, I can say that don’t leave any issue unresolved even if the other person is adamant continue to push getting help to break the ice. We can move past anything if both parties are willing to communicate and put our EGOS aside.
