Of the three, Mafestoo was by far the best detailed for the price. However, at the same time, Mafestoo failed miserably at one specific element of the rendering, and that was in creating a sense of warmth in the courtyard. This image looks as if it is dusk, and at a time when the courtyard lights should have been turned on. My opinion suggests that the sunset would have been to the east (right side) of this image, and the right facing wall should have been shaded darker than the left-side facing wall. Additionally, (in my opinion) there should have been a gradient of dark to light shadowing running up the left-facing wall as well. The fact that the courtyard was left relatively shadowed and unlit give this courtyard a rather dark, cold and unattractive (or uncomfortable) feel to it; only by adding warmth by subtle lamp-lighting would have made a significant difference to the feel of the courtyard. In my opinion, Hanum did the absolute best rendering to capture light and shadow along the walls and courtyard. If, however, Mafestoo had done the same, then hands-down, Mafestoo would have won. For this price comparison and competition, I have to give it to Hanum. However, for the cheap, Joseeki gets an 'Honorable Mention' - incredible rendering and use of shadowing effects... for the price, Joseeki provided more than I would have expected for this price point. Well done.

You should have made a 3 way, side by side comparison between all three. Personally, I liked the $100 one best.

I feel like the fiverr prices devaluate so much the archviz work (and other fields too, probably). Sure, if someone can ask 30$ for a project and do a decent image that some clients are happy with what's the point of asking a fair price that makes sense for your work and background. No point on trying to sell freelance jobs on the internet on these sites unless you don't value your work high enough. Better to stick with local clients...

I can do similar work but never gave myself the chance to get hired online, for me, the 100$ one is a reasonable price for 1 good picture, I might think of starting doing that.

I really liked the end of afternoon light of render #2. it really compliments the volumes. I am not too sure about the types of trees, I would guess you'd like trees giving more shade on this hard cement open space. And yes the bulky guy in the middle looks too big. But this is a quick fix. Render #3 is really nice and I like the cement tiles, much more realistic. But the whole composition is a bit dark for my taste. The lightning of #2 on #3 would be gorgeous!

I liked the second one the most, albeit the people were a bit small. I think the combination of: the details, the lighting and color values of the second one and the interiors, the concrete, the people and vegetation of the last one would be perfect. Not a fan of motion blur of people on the last one, combined with the HDR sky and almost like a dark gradient in the bottom half of the render. Also the sky reflection color was different than the actual sky in the last one. Not worth the double price imo.

About 7:07 To my perspective lowering the opacity of extra render elements like people and trees might keep the lines and edges of the architecture prominent. Like keeping reference lines or axis lines in a sketch or doodle :D

How on earth does anyone make a living on $30 a render? It doesn't matter how fast or streamlined your process is, it will still take you at least 1 hour to import, dress and setup a view and export it. Add in electricity costs, software license costs and hardware costs and you would be losing money with each image before you even factor in your own time.

These fiverr videos are just making the job worth less. $200 for the "premium" one? People in the field put this as part of a project, that price is nothing compared to the overall price of a project, and nowadays is used as the main the to sell the project. In brazil it may be a minimum wage, but architectural visualizations is not an standard job, it requires skills and you need time to learn it, free or paid, you have a set of skills not everybody has, period. The cheap one should cost 200, the premium 600 at least. If you work in fiver raise your prices bro, you're not just hurting yourself but you peers.

Basically, Architectural Visualization is God mode to render 3D models and every designer offers their take on what the client wants to see.

They had 2 revisions with most of these, it would have been interesting if you went back to them with your criticisms and see if they improved.

In my opinion, the usd100 render is the best, with one more correction that render will be perfect, the usd200 one is very good, but it concentrated, perhaps, on the interiors and on other worse details, forgetting to add a light rune between both volumes to separate them and give it a vortex appearance hidden behind the volumes, if I do a night render it is the first element I add

For the last image, are the windows frames meant to be in different colors for each building? One is with light frames and the other is with dark frames.

For $30.-…😳… might as well do it for free!!! I work in this field and I wouldn’t be able to feed a family, pay taxes, health insurance, and rent for the house if I would do these jobs for that lousy price… it just doesn’t add up. This is absolutely ruinous. Why don’t you ask someone to do it for free and see what happens?

And if no can you request it at a lower price ? 2) how do i know what price to get? I am in a country where 200 dollars is a good deal but how do i know if i should rise my prices ?

it would we nicer if you added some kind of comparison. like if we can see all three and compare them it would be easier to answer your final quesiton :) i think 30usd one is fine but with a little adjustment on the 100usd one, it is worth tripling the mpney. 200usd one is not worty in my opiinion but i'm not an expert, I just graduated architecture.

I have to say that I liked the last one the least. Way too dark imo, and I didn't like the concrete ground tiles either...

There's a lack of foreground shadows and framing with vegetation with all of them and as you say a clear distinction between the volumns ......the lighting could be definitely improved upon......some basics of composition were ingnored for sure...

I notice that all three of them struggles with adding people into scene right, definitly they could use 3D scans of people if they have hard times compositing them into scene in post. If photoshop isnt their strongest skill, they definitly should look into Red Giant Supercomp plugin for AE, which i also recommend to check to all of you, really usefull stuff.

I liked the $30 one the best, it was sunny and warm, a place I would want to be, the others were too dramatic, almost creepy, blurry people, one guy looking at the photographer as if he's angry he's being photographed, just picky I guess, those are all personal associations, but the building is very nice which is what your clients will be looking at. I doubt they notice the things you do.

As a student would you advise to do your own renders or to outsource like this? I am a 3rd year student mainly doing collage renders and never learnt photorealistic.

I found the values very consistent with the images, but I was surprised by the quality of the 30$ one. It's funny, our Brazilian brain automatically converts the price to Real, so I would expect a little more from an image over R$1000.00. The lack of depth and perception of the building's volumes bothers me just a little bit, but I believe that with one review they would be able to reach this point. As always the video is amazing and I loved this type of analysis, it gives us a perception of details that we sometimes let slip and how they affect the final render! Achei os valores muito condizentes com as imagens entregues mas me surpreendi com a qualidade do de 30$. É engraçado, nosso cérebro Brasileiro automaticamente converte o valor para Real, então eu esperaria um pouco mais de uma imagem de mais de R$1000,00. A falta de profundidade e percepção dos volumes da edificação me incomoda um pouco, mas acredito que com uma revisão conseguiria atingir esse ponto. Como sempre o vídeo está incrível e adorei esse tipo de analise, nos dá uma percepção de detalhes que as vezes deixamos passar e de como eles afetam o resultado final!

I ain’t bragging or something but in my Country that kind of Render is only worth $15 but some Schematic Renders only cost like $5-$10 but with the only use of SketchUp (Not worth if I were the Client tho) And that $200 Render was like only $50-$60 Per Sheet: Exterior Perspective or Interior Perspective) In my Architectural Firm: Render: Exterior Perspective = $30/Sheet Render: Interior Perspective = $50/Sheet Consultation = $5/Hour Detailed Architectural Plan (Residential Bldg) = $50/Sheet Detailed Architectural Plan (Commerical Bldg) = $60/Sheet Detailed Structural Plan = $80/Sheet Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing Layout = $50/Sheet Material-Cost Estimates ($50K - $1M) = $50/Set Material-Cost Estimates ($1M - $10M) = $100/Set Material-Cost Estimates ($10M - $20M) = $200/Set

The only time I used Fiverr proved to be a total failure, albeit a handy learning experience for me. I had an unusual Audio problem in Arch Linux, causing a loud buzzing unaffected by the usual Sound settings. I found a guy, who then came back to me with excuses for his delay. He probably searched online, as I did, and not found the solution, as I did. I did however spot a subtle insight within Terminator (nobody online talked about), pointing to a reasoned a solution, and fixing it myself. Never heard from the other guy, we didn't even discuss his payment.

I think all of them charge way too little. Even the last one. Like how can you model in the whole interior, light it properly, add props inside and still charge 200 usd. The first one should be at least 125, the second one 250 and the last one 450 in my opinion
