I Paid $300 for TWO Broken Special Edition Switch Lite's - Pokemon Zacian and Zamazenta Edition - The first one was in really good condition. It turned on and everything was good after I reset the parental controls so an easy fix there. The second one was pretty rough - stripped screws, no power, broken ribbon cables, and a broken analog stick. However, after replacing the damaged parts and letting it charge up for a while the second Switch Lite was also working again.

I was wondering what kind of person would screw screws in that tightly, strip screws out, and break ribbon cables all in the name of "repairing" a console... then I realized the whole mess had started because they had literally broken off a joystick. They're probably not someone who knows how to handle electronics gently, I guess. Glad to see the console getting the gentle touch it deserved! I hope the new owner takes better care of it.

To straighten up bent plastic cases try heating the area with a hair drier before you apply pressure with pliers or whatever tool fits the job. Do NOT use a heat gun (will melt/char the plastic), a standard hair drier is hot enough and much safer to work with, your target temperature should be around 60-70C (that's just a bit too hot to comfortably hold in the hand but still cool enough that you can quickly touch with the tip of your fingers without getting hurt).
