That story about the holographic vaporeon gave me nostalgia whiplash because the same thing happened to me. My younger brother took my card, forgot it in his pants and it went through the wash. He got pummeled that day when I found out. He bought me a replacement years later. I still have it.

Lud obv has intentions of making money after buying these but he never does make profit because he just doesn’t sell them, and him saying the company got scammed is ironic because he might have just spent idk like $1000 on a random box and even if he made like $200 profit he never actually gets it because he still keeps it, thus leading him to lose $1000.

Just watched Ludwig's video he made with his sister last year, and in it he mentioned "I'm gonna give that card back to you next year on Xmas" So it's either a nice coincidence or they gave the card to him exactly so he could give it to his sister.
