I'm new to your channel. Wow! I've never heard of Paper Blanks brand before, nor have I seen that puzzle design. Lots of new puzzle designs I've not seen before, and I go to the thrift store a lot in my area (Minneapolis, MN). That Sunshine Puzzle, I haven't heard of that brand either! Looks Super fun! I'm so glad someone from the Minnesota Jigsaw Puzzle group recommend your KZfaq channel!

I love the challenge of thrifting puzzles and seeing if all the pieces are there. I’ve had really good luck just now and then some missing pieces. Those Barbie ones looks interesting.

I've gotten lucky so far and haven't run into any missing pieces yet 🤞🏼 I'm always a little anxious when I'm putting them together 😋

Paperblanks is one of my favorite brands. The print and texture of their pieces is very special and most of their images are gorgeous. Hope to see you do that one soon.

You are very lucky. Where I live puzzles are $5- $8 each

I find most of them around $5-$10 when buying from someone second hand but cheaper at the thrift stores!

Great haul! How do you clean or disinfect your thrifted puzzled? The Paperblanks one looks really cool!

That's a great question! I wish I knew a way to disinfect a puzzle without risking damage to the pieces and image.

I do it all the time. I put pieces in a small mesh laundry bag and blow out any dust, then I wipe box inside and out with disinfectant wipes, then I have a stash of microfiber towels I put through rinse cycle and they are the perfect wetness to lay out piece and put another damp towel on top and rub gently, it’s a process but I have it down, love my air compressor!

I don’t disinfect or clean them. It’s not necessary. You can wash your hands after handling the puzzle If you are cautious.

@@M_SCBut then every time I touched my any part of my face while puzzling, I'd have to wash my hands. That would not be relaxing or fun. Glad it works for you.

I have never bought open puzzle boxes because if it was missing any piece at all, I would be so disappointed. I’m a bit of an OCD. Need them to be complete 😂.
