I paid a Millionaire to fish his river... and it was worth every penny! The fishing here is unbelievable, and there are some massive fish to be caught. As well as that, it's absolutely beautiful! A trout fishing, salmon fishing and sea trout fishing paradise! If you're wondering how i can afford this, normally i couldn't. I earn a bit of money from youtube, and i'm trying to reinvest it all into making better videos. Whether that be new filming equipment, or locations like this, i'm determined to bring you the best fishing adventure videos possible!
I'm so grateful to everyone who watches my videos, it means the world to me and without your support trips like this wouldn't be possible. If you did enjoy this video, don't forget to drop a like, leave a comment and subscribe if you want to see more!

As for lures and spinners try the "Tasmanian devil" they do a lightweight version and a regular all-purpose, they have been around a long time and I remember them being very successful for me some three decades ago I bought my first one to try over the traditional Mepps, abu and the likes that I used, it was amazing in helping me bank more sea trout, brown and salmon than any other lure.

Nice little video, but rivers and fish belong to no one! they are natural and free. Paying to fish in a river is a bit strange to Canadians and Americans. paying to cross the land maybe or use the Land but river access is available to all within the high water mark, as the water and fish are constantly moving, they belong to no-one. Private ponds are different though!
@michaeldugdale3023
@michaeldugdale3023 8 күн бұрын
It's because they own the land, the river runs through their land, giving them the right to the stretch of river.
@adventurefishinguk
@adventurefishinguk 7 күн бұрын
I understand what you mean! Over here it’s a little different, people own the land on either side which usually comes with sporting rights and fishing rights. It would be fantastic if everywhere like this was available to everyone, but the locations would quickly become ruined because there’s a lot of people out there with no respect

@allbushnocraft3031 I'm sorry but that's Nonsense. Why do you think there are such good fish in this stretch of water? If this was opened to the public the fish would be taken in a heartbeat. Some people have absolutely no respect for the fish or the water. They have no interest in the future of the river and numbers of fish it produces. Yes it's very expensive but you are paying for top notch quality fishing in a stunning location and most of the time u are by yourself giving you the best chance of catching the fish of a lifetime.

What a lovely stretch of river. If it is anything like the river we live on the banks of in Brittany, salmon numbers have suddenly crashed. Usually I see dozens going up our fish pass each autumn. But this year there were zéro, and I could see no redds in their normal spawning areas. As for a contender to the brown trout, the male Arctic charr in its breeding colouration is up there for me.
@adventurefishinguk
@adventurefishinguk 8 күн бұрын
It certainly is! Salmon numbers in the places I fish are significantly less than they were 10 years ago for sure. However it does feel like over the last 2 years it has bounced back slightly! And I’d absolutely love to catch an arctic char

Nice stretch of River.. I could pitch a tent there for a couple of days, no problem.. Hey George, me old darling. I am looking to buy an ultralight spinning rod to get down with all the kids. A couple of weeks ago you were teasing us about a new version of the much loved, Fish Rig 180. I think you said it was going to be multi-piece instead of semi telescopic. Any further word on that? Do you think it might be out this summer? Cheers.

Nice video. Makes me a little nostalgic and sad and one of many reasons that triggered me to move from the UK to Canada. If you ever travel to BC give me a shout and I will show you where you can fish almost any river for free, without the need for permission, club membership or beat fee, as long as you have a fishing license. Hint; September to December most rivers are full of salmon.

@@adventurefishinguk I travelled to Croatia, here you can buy a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly license, they are all somewhat expensive and the yearly one requires you to do a day of "volounteering" in hatcheries or fish stockings, but personally the quality and variety of fish make it absolutley worth it
