I shaved my head last summer with my aunt that had cancer but she passed away not to long after, i got really insecure and I ended up waring wigs for quite a while but I finally stopped and let my hair breathe and grow, after a year of not having my hair to hide me It actually helped me gain so much confidence, it was probably the scariest most liberating thing Iv ever done and it’s an experience I’d never take back even with the good and bad, may 26th marked a year and my hair is shoulder length.
