I had my students watch Avatar throughout the year. Their favorite character is of course Sokka so I got him to say a few words. Jack De Senta's delivery throughout the show was always spot on so I'm glad he did this.

I mean it does kinda exists in real life. My mexican mom used to make a green juice called " jugo verde" and one of the ingredients is nopal, which a type of cactus. It's drinked in México as healthy drink to help lower your blood pressure and for weight-loss. But you do have to be careful, because it can be a bit too effective. So don't drink it too often.😅

Cactus juice is poisonous it causes dehydration as you body has to use its water supply to clean you blood using your liver to dilute it with water so yeah never drink cactus juice no matter how thirsty you are. IYF all drugs and alcohol are also poisonous too that's why you get "High" or drunk as being High or drunk is actually a state of being poisoned parts of your body are not working correctly and eventually can't do their job properly or at all so you brain doesn't work properly and you eventually die if you take too much.

For real. Gives me hope. Pushing testing and the original curriculum on kids truly spreads so much mental illness and other problems. Its so sad. And how many know math over a 5th grade level after 10 years? Its a waste of time. And i love math, no kid needs 12 years of it. And the history books are full of shit. Like how you learn in avatar in book 3 ep 2 when aang goes to school haha. Love this so much also because america resembles the fire nation. Teaching these kids right. 👏👏

Avatar is the best written show to raise children on. 100% should be what shapes our society. I wish This was required in every school. When my kids were very young, it was My Little Pony. When they could grasp bigger concepts, we moved into Avatar. It is all the character building they need to become respectful and fun adults. My son is killing it in his first job. Very motivated, making friends, adapting as he goes. Go for it.

Thank you for this. Avatar is something I think every human being should watch for SO many reasons, and the lessons it taught me became core memories and beliefs. This show will always have a special place in my heart and soul, and I'm so glad to see others able to grow up with it, too! It has such important messages that everyone needs to hear, and knowing kids are still hearing it and loving it truly does give me hope for the future.
