They certainly came out well! Most of my Empire are in Averland colours, although my archers are made up of the old metal minis from the mid 1990s, which were clearly an inspiration for this kit. You made my day getting the bird book out too, I must be the only person who’s fretted about making my Empire Griffon look ‘realistic’ (ended up inspired by a combination of Red Kite and Osprey).

Best looking Averland unit I've seen. White/red chevron feathers adds something that could unify all soldiers of the empire from whatever province.

Looks stunning! I suggest giving a nice coat of Lahmian Medium in the end, it gives a nice matt finish, especially if you have an airbrush.

Dear Mr. Anvil of Doom Miniatures: Lovely video, I just have a few questions. First, is the bottle of Bronze Fleshtone you're using from the classic, now out of production version of the Game Color range, or is it part of the new, reformulated range of the same name that was released about a year ago? And if you have experience with both versions, are they actually identical or is there a difference? It's always confusing when a manufacturer revamps their paint range and keep names while potentially changing the actual paint. Keep up the good work!
