Excellent demonstration, I hv just resprayed my wife's 500 wing mirrors, but hv not lacquered them as yet. Can I ask where did u buy your lacquer from, I haven't seen a can like that before.

bought from a local norwegian autoparts store, but it's called Spray Maxx 2k and I know they sell it in at least some states 🙏

Those look good! I want to wrap mine with a carbon fiber wrap. Is that the factory fiat paint?

Thanks! 🙌 Nope, just a random black paint with a tiny little bit of silver metallic flakes apparently 🤔 No shops carried the paint code, but oh well it's close enough. Good luck on the wrapping btw, I tried that myself before plastidipping them but those stock mirrors are really awkwardly shaped. I'm sure it can be done but I gave up after 2 hours and 5' of wrap 😂

Hei, hvor lang tid brukte du mellom strøkene på klarlakken? :)

Hei! Brukte teknikken med et tac coat og et wet coat, men det synes ikke veldig godt i videoen. Tac coatet er et veldig lett strøk først med ca 50-80% dekning, bruker virkelig ikke mye lakk til dette. Lar dette tørke til det blir "tacky", eller klissete om du vil, når man kjenner på det, tar vanligvis bare noen (5?) minutter avhengig av temperatur og type lakk. Så et tykt lag oppå der! Må sies jeg var veldig heldig med denne lakkjobben da 😂 Brukte Spraymaxx 2k, fåes på BilExtra. Teknikken og lakken gjør det lekende lett å få brukbare resultater!
