To those who like this recording I strongly recommend listening to an early recording by Gromiux (sp?) don’t remember the Viola player.

Yes indeed, Arthur Grumiaux's version is marvelous. He recorded these duos with Arrigo Pelliccia on the viola.

Levi.M Can confirm that there is definitely no harmonic there (harmonics have a ringy and completely different sound from squeaks), and also Perlman messed up a note at 0:30. Don’t get me wrong, Perlman and Zukerman are both widely known as some of the best musicians ever, but everybody makes mistakes.

I m violonist and i can tell It's not even a mistake, sometimes the string whistle and it's not because of a bad move of the violinist, it's just a coïncidence
