Huge Souls lover, got this game on discont on the PSN, played 1-1 until Phalanx and then left it rotting in the storage for an year just because I wasn't in a hurry to play it (and already played it on the PS3 back in the day), never been a fan of the alignment system This video gave me the inspiration to play it again so thanks mate, hope to still find someone to kill in PvP when I get to that point. Speaking for my experience until now (gonna update): - I've managed to roll through the bridge first try thanks to your video, because I already knew the timing of the shoots - dropping the golden coin was terrible, and the pure bladestone even worse, took days to farm them

When I first played the game, I was doing perfectly on tendencies until 5-1. I used Wrath of the Gods in the rat room and accidentally killed the merchant lady. I was so mad that I uninstalled the game and didn't touch it for months. I started a new character rather than do NG+2.

Idk how possible it'd be but I'm on a fallout kick atm (admittedly from the show). id love to see a platinum hunt on the fallout games

The "Shadow of the Colossus" Remake would be a good platinum. I remember it taking some effort but nothing to egregious.

I loved OG Demon's Souls so much I got the Platnium trophies on the EU, US & JP versions of the game. One of the most fun things to do is go for all the trophies in one playthrough and getting a faster time using as many exploits and skips as you can. DS EU: 1 week, 3 days DS US: 1 day, 2 hours DS JP: 21 hours, 52 minutes

I personally found this the hardest one to platinum. Trying to understand world tendencies AND character tendencies was mad annoying. And the game was definitely the most unforgiving of all their games.

Umbasa! it took me around 90 hours, 2.5 playthroughs. Just platinum'd it a couple hours ago. This is my 2nd souls plat after Bloodborne. Although my first souls was Dark Souls 2, which i loved and got me into these games. But i'm still like 5 trophies short of that platinum. I'll go for it after DS1

I platinum'd Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3, and if I replay Elden Ring one more time, I'll have platinum'd that. They're never really hard to platinum (though I guess the general difficulty of the game does provide an impediment), but particularly Dark Souls 3 can take for fucking ever in trying to acquire all the miracles, sorceries, and pyromancies. I had to farm like crazy to get all the vertebrae shackles and other PVP items to increase my rank in the covenants for the spells because my character was high enough soul level that I could only rarely get any matches for PVP. The first Dark Souls was interesting to platinum because it required you to collect all the unique weapons. Some of those I would have never figured out without a wiki. When I first played Dark Souls, it seemed so hard. I still die a fair amount when I play the series, but I've gotten pretty good at them and it is no longer a frustration. There's still some real bullshit bosses, especially in the first Dark Souls. The capra demon arena is just ass. Of course, everyone hates the Bed of Chaos. Everyone nuts over the Artorias DLC, but I don't care for it that much frankly. I've never seen why people think the Artorias fight is so great. I guess in comparison to the last third of the bosses being pretty anus-tier, it would definitely be an improvement. Manus did feel like such an accomplishment when I finally beat him. That fucker took me ages my first time around. Overall, they're probably my favorite game series and I've played all of them multiple times. As much as hate the combat in DS2, I still occasionally hope it wasn't as unenjoyable as I remember it. Turns it, it still is. It is so freaking long too.

yeah demon's back on PS3 was a return to what i like to call "fcking figure it out" gameplay of old times. where you were told what to do, and general path to follow but no markers to tell you how to do things. and if a boss was kicking your ass, you either got good or spend many hours grinding yourself to temporary godhood till the next boss beat your ass down. "one wrong step and that would mean a third playthrough" yuuuup. and not just "oh, ng playthrough" talking NG++ playthrough. cause if you use a boss soul the wrong way, like one that gives either a spell or miracle for example and you need to get all of them in one file but you accidentally ate it or something, you need to go in on a harder difficulty. though saying that, DeS is rather easy on it's NG+'s. sure scaling is there but by the end of NG+ you should be close to soft capping every stat anyway, so not much should bother you. unless you suck. like me (i am really bad at these games lol) "was feeling pretty invincible" uh-huh "said confidence was quickly done away with" as is the souls tradition. good job. the old monk is either super easy or impossible. those fckers with scraping spears and acid coulds are the biggest pains in the asses. i never fight the reaper legit. i always just snipe the fcker with a bow and be done with it -.- poor old hero.... large hit-box+firestorm=begone health. Doran can solo the whole fcking game. why the fck is he in a damn church doing sod all!? yeah platting DeS is rather simple all things considered. nice vid!

My favorite part of this game is the maiden’s feet.

As someone who has platinumed all the souls games, I’d say Elden Ring is the easiet to get the platinum trophy for. This is because it has the easiest trophy list (by far) which doesn’t require ng+ and spirit ashes can be used to make every boss fight significantly easier. So if there are any souls noobs out there looking for a souls plat, I’d say start with that one.

I'm convinced that everyone who says this is the easiest souls game is secretly admitting that they followed a guide. The character and world tendencies make this game one of the more punishing for those who are beginners or otherwise not sure of what they're doing. I'm admitting that I had to get to new game++ in order to get the platinum. Umbasa.

The game is beautiful, but by the second playthrough you really start to feel the fact that the game still plays like its from the PS3. That made it the biggest slog for me to through to platinum, at least for a Souls game

this might be the easiest gameplay-wise but when it comes to the platinum this game is a nightmare. world tendency and character tendency are both absolute garbage mechanics
