Did you play this on the 2023 QoL update? There's been a bug reported that claims you could lose all your progress and die when you enter the volcano. So I'm a little scared to play this myself. Amazing video btw

the thunder gives me flashbacks of how the game (don't starve togeather with the island adventures mod) i first got poisoned, then went insane then continiously struck by lightning for all of my bad deeds, then got a gambling adiction, cured my poisnon, got poisoned again, oh did i mention that every 9 seconds a lightinig bolt would come straight for my ass, i then cured myself yet again, got all my stats relatively high, accidentaly ate a uncoocked green shroom instead of a cooked one, went insane yet again, misstook a evil flower for a noraml flower, went insane yet again, and lastly sealnado decided to have it rough with me when i tried cooking some food, my spear dissapeared insanity creatures joined in and decided to have a thresome with me and the sealnado all while i was getting violated by lightining every 9 seconds. love the game, 10/10 will play again

In the shipwrecked dst mod I found out you can freeze any neutral monkey by giving them gold, and they have a really long refusal animation. I could capitalize on this more with someone else but it might still work alone
