Very grateful to Square Enix for inviting me to take part in previewing the upcoming 'DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D REMAKE'. The game comes out November 14th 2024 and I'm really excited to try this game out!
I love 'classic' rpgs and this remake certainly ticks off a lot of things retro lovers will love.

Lucky you got to preview the game! The game looks great so far! I got intrigued from the moment Square revealed the graphics went the HD-2D route. And as far as turn-based RPGs go, I've only played FF7, FFX, and Superstar Saga. I also just got started on Sea of Stars. Perhaps Dragon Quest will be a nice fit for me as well.

So I have played some DQ games. 8 was my first entry but was a kid got lost and gave up, I WILL go back one day. DQJoker was my next entry and while I found it like pokemon in some aspects again I couldn't and struggled. I think I kinda ignored mostly everything dq thinking this ones not for me. Until 11... I LOVED 11 and is the reason I want to go back and explore more DQ games and why I am excited for DQ3 HD2D remake and the eventual 1 and 2 HD2D remakes

I pretty much played all of the mainline DQ games as well some spinoffs so i’m more excited for the Erdrick Trilogy getting remade.😁

But I'm still not sure WHAT Physical skills the Hero/Warrior can learn in the Demo/Full game for at least the first 20 lvs, Mages of course will still likely only learn spells.

Did you see any DEI influences in this game? I have been waiting and bugging Square-Enix for years to re-release the Dragon Quest games but now I am hearing they may be trying to get rid of gender in the game. Ridiculous if true.
