One of the biggest things she offers is information gathering. You can tell if a survivor is in your puddles when the water is increasing. You can use this as a makeshift peeper if you can remember where the puddles are and their duration. If you are looking for survivors toward the start or middle of the game, walk around ciphers or pathways to ciphers. This will let you know if a survivor went to that cipher when they get moisture or they will choose to waste time and not walk through your puddles. You can also use this puddle info for camping. Throw and bring back your harpoon quickly for the left or right side when a survivor is chair. This will let to go to nearby ciphers on the other side and let you know if a survivor is going to rescue. Or again they will have to waste time going around if they do avoid your puddles. Just practice memorizing where you've been, the time duration of the puddles, and the areas you want to cover. This will help her since she can get around the map very quickly and has strong chase.

I'm a B-badge Naiad and something simple that I actually see a lot of players mess up is when they're circling a kiting area, they throw the harpoon towards where the survivor will transition then they use their main body to circle in where the survivor already came from. This allows them to transition kite without a problem. It's best to try to circle out with your main body the direction they're going so if they do get out you're closer and can land a hit.

For anyone who wants to kite her, I believe that her case is the same as Wuchang. Both has excellent mobility with their ability but that's all they have at the start, mobility with a touch of mechanic. If you deny her the presence then she's just a simple attack hunter and the rest of the survivors can cypher rush her to oblivion.

Dash right behind the survivor bc you will hit them almost every time. Also like he said in the video, dash toward the chair if your camping, because the dash doesn’t stop when you hit a survivor and you will end up super far away from the chair and the survivors will get a free rescue

I got her S tier costume this morning and my friend hates me for it.

Situational Naiad tip: if you throw and surround a bottom part of the map with your harpoons, then recall it back on top, it'll moisturize both areas. (This works on every two story building)

Naiad is fun but imo her abyss areas should be highlighted more, maybe like Joseph's tracks or something... just because... I'm blind pfff I've been doing rly badly with her (I got her S-Tier before she came out "normally"), whenever i did something epic it was pretty much on accident uskjhsds and now i dont rly wanna play her because people probably are sick of her by now haha. ill play her again when it dies down I think.

I've been playing her recently and i always try to hit survivors with the moisture since i dunno why it's so satisfying hearing the pop of someone getting hit by it. She is also in my opinion a great alternative to Photographer (i should know since I'm a Photographer main). For me she doesn't need trump card much since she is very fast with the dash if you don't bump into objects and with announcement you can reach the place where the survivors are.

I'm sick of seeing her honestly, 90% of my matches are Naiad and at this point I think shes overhyped

this is the trick i get by watching pro player and honestly it work for me, BUT this trick not always works, only in some spawn as the Video says, you cant rely much on abyss in early game, thats true, but there is a way to make abyss more useful in early match or in zero presence, that is, instead of going in straight lines as the harpoon that we throw earlier, try to go another path that and create a huge abyss that cover a very big kiting area, while at that, lure the survivor to that area, most the times, the survivor will recieve 1 hit because of puddle because they dunno how to get out from the abyss (they didnt see the abyss line), and you can chase them in the second throw and hit them.

A little trick i've learned for Naiad: While you're camping and a survivor comes, you can pretend to throw your harpoon. Press the harpoon button then quickly cancel it and hit the rescuer. This has gotten me a lot of terror shocks. It's not a guaranteed terror shock but most times it works :).

I don't know if everyone knows this but you can get rid of seers owl and gardener's shield with naiad's dash. Not sure if they need to be moisture in order to get rid of it but it works.

I mostly use wanted order plus teleport for naiad,blink is also good🤔

since most people are convinced that naiad will get a nerf lmao what do you think will actually be the nerf? im considering buying her after i get sculptor (ive only started playing hunter since all the characters were free, sorta new player)

I think doctor and perfumer are the best counters for her. Maybe even forward. from the matches that I’ve had with naiad. Most of them depend on loop kiting, but now that I’ve played with her a bit more I’m getting better at transition kiting. If your teammates decode enough then there will be a cipher rush causing the match to either go into a win or a draw. So my point is, let your teammates decode while this one person is kiting for the rest of the match. That is if they are good at kiting her. Also when naiad is trying to use her puddles on you while pursuing. She will get her weapon back when she is close to you. So the best option is to go to a pallet and throw it down because that will have to change her options.

100% porcent of the matches are against Naiad. Ofc, she isn't hard to play and can down survivor's without doing anything special... "But you just have to do a transition" 4:07 uhum yeah try it and fail miserably getting that kinda of hit in 90% of the matches ;3 I hate her now, just let me play a match without being against that freaking fish aaaaaaaaa

Naiad Is kinda easy to kite When she uses her 2 ability just move dude Without Her Ability is almost Nothing Just get out of the water area and your ok Why You use the dash ability just to move faster?
