I think it sucks that you have to spend so much money on remote raids. Its difficult running around to different raids, but it was great!

I thought Sunday was terrible. It was darn near impossible to find a field research that was not about raids. It would have been nice to have more chances at a shiny Pikachu encounter.

It’s quite unfair for the free to play people. We don’t have unlimited raid passes and remote raid passes. Just one and only free raid pass for the day.

I had many issues with Go Fest this year - Shiny rates felt skewed at certain points. Only got 21 total from both days. I encountered like 50 Rockruff and not a single shiny, I would go like an hour or two without ANY shinies before getting just 1 and having that same thing repeat again. - Raids were very underwhelming. Only 1 shiny and it was garbage, and on day 2 I almost didn’t have enough energy to fuse ONE Necrozma because the amount of energy you get vs the amount it takes to fuse is atrocious. - The 3 special research not being separate. By the time I got to the Solgaleo research, which was like 10 pages deep or whatever, the game is like raid 5 more times. Still yet to complete it cause I ran out of passes by the time I got to that point.

14:17 loved go fest. Got a hundo dusk mane and 98 dawn wings and still have a 98 necrozma. Only 2 shinys with bad IVs. Wish there was no limit to raids. You rock mystic.

I did so many necrozma raids and not a single shiny. Got my shiny jangmo-o on the first raid🙃.

1:46 wow dude you got the floor (worst iv spread possible from a raid) off the first raid!! i keep all my 2018’s because they’re cool to have, 1/216 odds to get one. Obviously not as dope as a hundo but aye. i did 504 total necrozma raids, no shundo, 20 shinies, 1 with a catch card, 1 XXS, 1 XXL, and a bunch with the New York and Global catch cards. I also got 4 hundo necrozmas, and a 96% shiny. i’m now waiting to lucky trade most of my shinies so i can try for the shundo some more:p

Only problem I had was that it wasn’t 1/10 shiny odds and you only get 90-120 energy per raid. Didn’t like that you needed to do 20-22 raids to get both forms. Did 12 necrozma raids a none were shiny still managed to get dawn wings so I’m not that annoyed. (non ticket because I was under the impression that we would get 5 free raid passes.)

I’m deleting the app and never playing pokemon go ever again. The game is rigged and they don’t want me to have the strongest metta pokemon. I’ve tried everything and the game won’t let my SHADOW GLIGAR learn a second move. I have video proof

i really enjoyed it tbh, went with 3 close friends both days and just went as hard as we could. 98 shiny dusk mane and hundo dawn wings :) !

there were codes for about total 200 for lunar energy and 200 for solar energy, so roughly saves 4 total raids if trying to get 1 each

I kind of wish the event lasted longer, I live in a small town and there was only around 2 or 3 gyms that were full enough to defeat necrozma so I only got 4 necrozma and around 200 lunala energy, also doesn't help that remote raid passes are expensive

I only did 33 Necrozma raids… and got to Shiny Necrozma… I personally think that’s pretty good… and I got a 100% IV… but unfortunately no shundo!😍

I got Four Shiny Necrozuma during the Fusion Necrozuma raids. Like omg lots are my Friends want me to Raid lots of Fusion energy. But also I have a Hundo Necrozuma last Saturday.

Overall good but some of the hours were too diluted with trash com day spawns on day 1, day 2 had too many ducklett/emolga/crabrawler spawns based on weather which prevented other pokemon from spawning. Other thing i didnt like was that on day 1 there were too many necrozma raids that took space from the UBs and it was stupid because these raids didn't give any fusion energy.

The catch rates were boosted (Beast Balls) so i just pinapped all the necrozma and got so much candy and candy XL. There was no need for golden razz berries. Caught everything 1st/2nd ball

100 necrozma with a card, shiny with a card, two more shinies and one was a 91% shiny

During the raids I ended up getting a hundo necrozma and thought that the day peaked right there, but literally the next raid I get my first ever shundo!

I am not kidding for some reason the necrozma (dawn wings and dusk mane) raids started at 6am for me

I was gonna check my necrozmas ordinary cp but i was lagging and it didnt pop up so i clicked again and that was the exact time the screen where you make sure you wanna seperate them popped up and the yes button was exactly under the seperate button and i dont have enough to fuse it again 😢

53 necrozma raids and I got 5 shinies and a hundo. 99 shinies across both days. I was able to catch every single shiny that was available. The only negative thing I can say is that none of the shiny rockruffs I caught could evolve into dusk form but overall I can't complain at all.

I literally hatched like 80+ of the 7km eggs before and during go fest with the “Higher shiny rates” and got 0 shinys

For someone that couldn't raid at all this weekend - this was probably my least favourite go fest they've ever done. You only get a maximum of 100 energy per raid and you need 1000 for one fusion? Then double that for the opposite counterpart? I'm sorry but that's 20 raids at an absolute minimum to get just the essential. For those that had a blast this year, good on you! That's great. But if you couldn't raid, this would've been an extremely expensive weekend. At the very least, timed research for some energy would've looked better on the resume.

I had a great go fest, I got a shiny 98% necrozma which I fused with solgaleo and I got a shundo scarf espeon from research, really nice

Answer: No it sucked the IVs on Necrozma were garbage and the shiny rate for ticket holders was laughably low for most. Weak wild Pokemon lineup too. Waste of time and money for me.

I had a good event. I mean, I had to work for four hours during the event because I have a real job. But I did get some pretty good shiny Pokémon. 2 shiny necrozmas, shinies corsola, espeon, Jangmo-o, rockruff, dusk rockruff, golett, binacle, ducklett, and a surprise phanpy. 😊

This was a great go fest for me, first two raids kn day 1 were back to back shiny Necrozma. Unlimited raids, used Origin Dialga's RoT all day, both days for the incense. Really focused on getting a bunch of new shinies and boy did I.

Would've loved to see a comparison between Free to Play and a Paid experience of the Go Fest. Might be a bit harsh to ask for, but maybe take someone with you who's Free to Play or take a second phone with a free account on it with you? I feel like those who did not pay for the ticket generally disliked the event and am curious how big of a difference there is.

I caught a shiny 0% eevee during this event I was more hype about that than almost everything from the weekend!

Top of the morning hatch on Day 2 of Global Go Fest: I hatched a Hundo Larvesta off of that first batch.

Didn't really feel like Go Fest but I did manage to walk away with 4 shiny Necrozma and about 10 other nice shinies

I did almost 60 raids between the 2 days, and got my only shiny Necrozoma from the Special Research, did nab a 96% though which is great but honestly it felt barely like a step up from my Mega Rayquaza GO Fest experience, really don't know why I'm giving Niantic so much money for such subpar experience

I personally only caught 1 shiny, even though I played both days! I raided 36 Necrozmas but didn't get a shiny or a hundo. >:( The "shiny boost" felt like a shiny odd decrease. Worst Go Fest I've played so far.

My friends and I genuinely thought the necrozmas from day 2 were shiny locked. Like we each had over 30 passes (i had 70 and then enough coins to buy like 15 remote passes) and throughout the full day, none of us got a shiny from the raids. I don’t know the odds of bad luck, but from the 85 passes i had, i finished with 19 and no shiny… luck was just awful this year…

I thought shiny necrozma was disabled for fusion raids. Did like 50, half local half remote - 0 shinies

I did 18 necrozma raids got 2 shines from those. I evolved my cosmog from Sundays special research into a solgaleo and got a lunala from the paid research. I did enough raids and fusion energy to get dusk mane and dawn wings both shinies

Spent all this money on raid passes to fuse my shiny 96% necrozma only to fuse the WRONG ONE. Now I can’t fuse it since it takes at LEAST 10-12 raids PER fuse

Btw I think the free research gives cosmog and if you have go fest pass you get the second one it’s third evolution

Great video and there was a galarian articuno when trying to tap it I encountered a shiny I caught the shiny but then the articuno was gone should I have ran from the shiny and encountered the articuno?

I did over 50 necrozma raids during the weekend and only got one shiny. Pain. 😭

Dudes got some insane luck on the raid shinys. I only managed 2 shiny Necrozma across both days and did close to 100 raids.

Can I just mention that I did 10 raids, checked over 400 Pokemon and didn’t get a single hundo and not to mention ended with one shiny!!

I almost took down a dawn wings necrozma with 2 other people but the timer ran out and the raid was gone then I had to fight another one by myself and over all I went home empty handed and im really sad cause now the event is over and I will never get my favorite pokemon

I did 75 raids and got 1 shiny necrozma all weekend and was a ticket holder. Was super bummed.

My two take aways from Go Fest 1) Beast Balls need to be for all raids. Buy tickets, doing the raid and then failing to catch something from bad RNG sucks. They should be 100% catch rate, but anything to increase should be implemented. 2) They should have like a group of 30-40 insanely rare spawn with like a 1/1000 chance to just have one of them show up. I think it would be more exciting and a reason to get out more for a chance to catch maybe 1 or 2 of them. I'm talking pokemon you would never normally see in the wild like Spiritomb, Ceruledge, Chandelure, Bisharp, Pangoro, Ursaluna, Cradily, Krookodile, Noivern.

Mega Rayquaza raid day is the best suitable for make up day to compensate the problem occurred during Mega Rayquaza elite day rather than another Mega Rayquaza elite day as make up.

I was misinformed about the fusion energy, i used all my passes on necrozma on saturday. And did not receive fusion energy obviously. And sunday i had only 1 pass, the daily one and no money to spend on passes... They better bring these pokemon back some day

Hey guys, I have a shadow latias, 1460cp, and it’s IVs are 13/14/7. Should I purify it??

Out of the 150 Ultra Beasts raids I only got 1 shiny. And 1 shiny out of 35 Necrozma raids 😢. I know they are supposed to be rare, but this just felt terrible.

I got 54 shinies (Jangmo-o and Corsola) and all the costume shinies! Plus both shiny fused Necrozmas. And some of the shiny Ultra Beasts. Great day!

Did 107 raids and ended up with 9 shinies and a hundo which I fused with Lunala. Was hoping for a 2nd hundo but wasn't as lucky, so will probably pester my local community for Necrozma from lucky trades

I didn’t even get 1 Special Background Shiny after 200-300+ Raids the Entire Go Fest Season. I’m never wasting a penny on this game again, not worth it. Content Creators get treated better than everyone else. Do you know how hard I worked? I walked about 30 miles and biked over 30 miles those 2 days. Considering how hard I worked, I expected better from Niantic

Honestly I’m satisfied with my results. No hundo or shundo. But I did get to max out my 96 15/14/14 background necrozma after I fused it with my background solagleo and level 40 a Dawn wings necrozma AND GET both shiny fusions so. I’m satisfied with what I got. Got a few new shinies. 6 shiny necrozma’s so. Not bad for the weekend for me

I had to use my remote raid passes. I don't know why and I stg I'm not lying. I just stuck with local raids at a massively popular park in Nashville instead. I wish I could've done remote raids all day. It was hot as balls outside. haha

I enjoyed the event, i got a xurki shiny, 2 shiny necrozmas, 94%xurki/96%necrozma with background both and a hundo necrozma in like 60 raids 😮

Got a few shiny Necrozma but I focussed more on incense and I’m glad I did because I pulled the shiny Dusk form Rockruff

I genuinely had more fun during this year’s Global Go Fest than I did in 2023. Having no raid limits, plus the Beast Ball catch rates, made raiding more enjoyable in 2 days than my whole raiding experience in the last 4 years. Plus, I got a hundo Necrozma, a Lucky-trade shiny Necrozma with the special background, a Rockruff as my 3rd ever SHUNDO, and even a _shiny Mewtwo_ from completing the Level 50 Challenge research during Day 1. Shiny rates for Necrozma could’ve been a little better though XD 8/10 Go Fest, will beg for no raid limits again!

91 Necrozma raids for me. Only two shiny, but I was able to max out a hundo and 98% and fuse. Very happy

honestly, I ended up doing 56 Necrozma raids and never even got a shiny which was what I was wanting most this go fest. I felt a little upset since I did pay for the ticket and everyone in my group ended up with at least 2 shinies each and they did only half the raids I did, only upside was that I did get a hundo and some friends are willing to lucky trade me. I'm not sure if the ticket was worth it yet, but I did end up with around 30 shinnies for the more common pokemon.

uuuhhh, did someone already mention that you need to finish the research, because the second research that opened up on Sunday awards a Cosmog and then you get to choose either Solgaleo or Lunala, which you are awarded with once you complete the relevant page?? I am not a hard core player, played in person, and finished both of the event related research on Sunday.
