I don’t take flash when I play Leona, and if anyone questions me I just tell them flash is for the weak.

Finally, someone who gets it. I've been running no flash on jungle for over a year now and have been getting a bit of success with it. A lot of champions have more than enough mobility to justify scrapping flash and going for a more offensive/defensive summoner spell (i.e. jax, Camille, fiora, akali, warwick) to better suit their needs. I recently switched to top lane and have been finding the same success since the lane became practically ungankable with the new S14 map changes. There's just no incentive to take flash to escape a gank when I can just go ghost and run as fast as I can towards my tower. Yes, while I do admit not having flash can sometimes make me lose kills by not being able to do combos properly, I mainly play bruisers and fighters so ghost or exhaust is a lot more useful in extended fights than flash. Also, as you said, no flash makes you more aware of the map since you need to watch out for jungle ganks. I feel as though my macro improved since trying out no flash. Overall, I'm pretty glad someone else is doing this strat and I really enjoyed the vid.

I've been playing enchanter support with ghost instead of flash for 2 years now, I got some conclusions: Flash if your champ has a combo that needs it or assasin Ghost simply gives a really strong roam/gank potential, sometimes you can save a teammate that got caught because you were able to arrive earlier. On ranged champs, you'll get caught the moment that they get into your range, exhaust/ghost/clearance/barrier often saved me more than flash because they negated the burst or helped me to avoid the whole danger. If you're playing a really slow/not to many fights lane, you can use ghost more often to move around the map since you won't get into a sudden do or die fight....In those cases flash is better.

Its crazy to me how I never take flash anyway and somebody is finally making a video about it. If you're relying on a short distance teleport to survive bad situations and engage on enemies, then you need to learn how to stop getting into bad situations and learn to deal with your champion's limitations. There are a lot of summoner spells, and they're all great in their own ways, and most of then have shorter cooldowns.

Also I want to say flash is the most common because it is a low information, instantanious get out of jail free card. Ghost is inarguably the better summoner spell but it requires much more game sense of when to activate and to be used effectively often requires a lot of vision of the map. Flash imo is OP not because its the best but because its such a low skill high reward summoner that it pushes out even better sums at all ranks.

i always play briar without flash, i didnt find it to be useful most of the time and it helped me be less reliant on my flash with other champs i dont usually leave comments, but this is a well made video and i hope you get more subscribers

Currently ghost is already a very strong alternative for flash and many champions that has movement skill can just go ignite and teleport very efficiently. Flash is not needed and will be probably better to not even take it in many champions.

I just started to main singed a while ago (no flash). Now having arround 70 games, i gained so much game sense, as you have to play very different and you fully depend on your movement speed and positioning/ rotations over the map.
