Tekken's Nina Williams in: Death by Degrees, known in Japan as Death by Degrees Tekken: Nina Williams (デスバイディグリーズ鉄拳：ニーナウィリアムズ, Desu bai Digurīzu Tekken: Nīna Wiriamuzu), is an action-adventure game by Namco. It is initially a spin-off from the Tekken series of fighting games. Originally announced with the title Nina, the game was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2005. It is the first Tekken game to be Rated M (Mature) by ESRB. The game is fully controlled by the analog sticks. The left analog stick is touch-sensitive; through various degrees of holding, tapping or pressing along with other buttons allows the player character Nina Williams to walk, run or evade. The right analog stick is used for offensive moves.

@@Redxyellow1 exactly! I can't tell you how many times i brought the disk copy, and traded it back. i tried my best to keep it. I wanted to keep it as a collection but.... ugh... But the story is really good they did their homework on the william's story background really well.

Some of us played it on the OG PS2 and I can confirm: It was painful. Would do it again though 10/10. I absolutely adore the game.

I miss DBD so much! I still have the game... just a broken PS2. This was released around the development of Tekken 5. I wish the graphics were just as superior. I doubt a re-release or continuation will happen but that would be so stellar! A must to play for Nina fans! Thanks for revisiting this game.

I remember when this game was announced and articles were written about it in Playstation Magazine. I like the idea of expanding the Tekken Universe through different genre's of games. Paul and Law was suppose to have a Beat em Up spinoff but I guess because of this games failure it didn't happen. But I believe that something like this should be attempted again.

lol my favorite game of all time !! I love Williams' sisters, specially Anna. This game may be hard in the beginning, but once you know how to handle commands, it becomes quite fun. I lost count of times I already finished it. The soundtrack is really good. Incredible how you sum up this game in 11 minutes, Death By Degrees takes at least.. 8 hours to finish it ? Nice editing and everything, I loved this video !! I'd give a million likes if I could ! ♥ 💜

I think about this game often, it was one of may favorite and still don’t understand why people hated it so much other than the controls and fixed camera angles. It’s a pretty solid game.

Played this back in the day. Controls were atrocious, but it hinted at the idea of Tekken spinoffs and I like that idea a lot. A game like Shaolin Monks from MK focused on Jin and the Mishimas would be awesome.

Grabbed this game at a thrift shop a year ago for 3 bucks. I barely got my ps2 to play it and it froze twice but I kinda enjoyed this game. Its not a good game but it has that old ps2 charm and dang it looks good.

I wish they incorporate pve game modes like this (tekken force but character specific) for tekken 8. This would enable them to add so much lore to the characters and really develop their personalities. Who am I kidding they probably won't!

@@IamPang I feel the same way. Between the bladed fans and the finger claws, a unique and fun style could be structured around that. Could always either retcon her death or pull a Kazuya "resurrected" storyline with her, I suppose. Most of her motivation seems to stem from her going crazy over Nina killing her boyfriend/bodyguard Bryce. Still, she has a pretty standout design and the most interesting boss battles. There's plenty of material to flesh out with Lana, in my opinion.
