The Backrooms originated from a thread posted on the /x/ board of 4chan on 12 May 2019, where an anonymous user asked for others to "post disquieting images that just feel 'off'." There, the first photo depicting the Backrooms was uploaded, presenting a slightly tilted image of a yellow-colored hallway.

As a backrooms fan this looks very similar to the actual backrooms the only thing I would change for this game is to make the walls on level 0 more yellow and this looks like the wiki backrooms level 0 because the fandom level 0 has plugs and a buzzing sound that will constantly be in the room I have been a backrooms fan for about 2 years now
