Yo Dude Nice Video i cant believe you played ICON i luv that Game even when it has many Bugs hear and there , i got some Tips so to Improve The Speed of the Game and get a workaround of these Graphic glitches , first off go to youre Advanced Tab in youre Emualtor and set the VBlank Frequency to like 80 or 85 so the Movement is much smoother then , and second go to youre GPU Tab and then to Write Color Buffers and tick it , then to Multithreaded RSX and tick it , and at least to Shader Quality and set on Auto or High , or even Ultra yeah thats all , if you still encounter Graphical glitches Restart the Game a couple Time , so i hope i could help and i hope i will see again playin ICON ❤❤ Edit: if you like i can send you some of my Screenshots from the Emulator for ICON , i could drop them on Dropbox or Discord if you has it.....see ya😊😊🔥🔥

Custom soundtracks were the way to go in this game for me, even though it messed up how the game worked in terms of taking over the DJing between you and your opponent. I had a song playing through custom soundtracks that made speakers constantly fall from the sky and it was hard to move.

This game honestly fascinates me. You should watch the interview with the lead game designer and see how hype he was for this game. In theory the idea was great but shitty story and lack of characters is really what bothers me most about it. This game is a perfect time capsule for the late 2000's that shows companies weren't afraid to take risk. They innovated and folks didn't like it, it's just a shame they scraped the whole series.

Bro this game was cool asl. The only thing that’s fucked up is the removal of blazin moves and the lack of characters. I feel like this game was made in crunch time but I understood the vision as a kid. I was 7yrs old when it dropped and I enjoyed it. Once you learned the controls like the grapples and all the other moves you could get busy. I’m sick we don’t have anymore of these. Def jam with current rappers with go crazy. Lol an T.i vs Tip was a album not versus 😂😂😂

FFNY was one of my favorite games growing up. I bought it from Target with some birthday money(I didn't own Vendetta). When I heard Icon was coming out I was hyped...until I saw the trailer. The moment I saw the 106 and Park stage I was out. Once a year I think to myself, maybe I should get this off of Ebay...then I look at the gameplay again and decide to save my money. I did pick up Vendetta off of Ebay though.

I played this when it first came out and hated just about every second of it and a couple times after my first play though I would look at it and think this game can’t be as bad as I remember. But every single time I play it ( which has only been 2 other times) I hate myself for cutting it back on

When you do the turntable, you get momentum when you change it to your song (the one you picked before the match). I think the animation is he does both hands then the song changes. The music is your “blazin”

I have mad nostalgia for def jam icon because I didn't grow up with fight for ny or vendetta so this is the only def jam game I knew and I have such fond memories of playing it as a child.

The game concept of introducing the turntable mechanic was a dope element to the game. If they had keep the style of FFNy and added this mechanic. It really would have a perfect trilogy, even if the roster wasn't up to FFNY size

If your playing on rpcs3 you can patch the game and it won’t have your character look like that if you right click the game and go to manage game patches it should fix it

this game was on point they tried to get ahead of the game but its clear people bitch too much, and have skill issues. I mean i guess folks expected to play a no mercy style wrestling game with nothing new that the new gen had to offer at that time. they gave us hi and lows heavy and light attack, lots of shit ppl just suck at games is all. they tried to keep up with what fight night was gonnA Do. people are just closed minded and probably didnt motivate them to keep going, L for the fan base

Story line of the game was good but the fighting mechanics were just too garbage. If they kept all of the fighting aspects of FFNY with Icon this game would’ve been a hit.

It was frustrating at first, but you had to approach it differently. We expected a wrestling game and it was more of brawler/dancing game. It was weird but once I got it down, I was cooking. The story was actually dope, but it didn’t flow too well. Paying for radio spins, signing rappers, getting videos vixen girlfriends was kinda dope. I wouldn’t play it again though

I fell like if they would’ve kept it the same as FFNY but just moving your character to the city of ATL, it would’ve done numbers‼️ Because the character customization & the clothes/shoes is an upgrade from FFNY. The story had potential and the music/artists are dope but they dropped the ball adding the turn tables.

This was technically a good game but just like your NBA Street analogy they fucked up by scrapping what worked. I was hype to see the new blazin moves and this turntable feature did NOT make up for them not being here. Also just an FYI you need to switch the music with the turntables to YOUR fight song. Whoever song is playing gets a strength and speed buff.
