as someone who still on old gen but still playing Friday AND TCM, Killer klowns have potential, I mainly into the cosmetics and the way the game goes.

The game honestly looks amazing, it really does the movie justice plus the Chiodo brothers did work directly with the developers, so I can imagine that there's going to be a lot in store for the game when it's fully released.

Oooorrr we have the alternate ending: The devs actually add new maps, characters, skins, etc. The game actually blows up F13 style. The game dies after people eventually stop playing it, not because it’s bad but because it’s old.

@@Splyt__ mostly cause the asymmetrical games are similar to fighting games in the sense that they arnt the most well received game for casuals. So many people may not even know the game comes out. It was same with the ghost busters game, the evil dead game and Texas chainsaw massacre game. Everyone seemed to enjoy the game but a couple short weeks after the casual players dropped off and the dedicated players stayed, and you’ll get a few stragglers coming back every so often.

Thanks for your awesome video got it pre-order already looking forward to it love the movie and the game looks like it has a lot of references to the movie that is a plus! Also not sure about how many maps are in total in the works but at least 3 maps I know of! I hoping the music and sound is amazing on day 1!

I don't mind lower graphics if it comes with quicker content and smooth gameplay. I really hope for a few maps too and an extensive progressive system. The first month will make or break the game.

Game looks fun. Only thing I'm really disliking so far is the whole "preference" system for being clown/human. But it still looks really good

Lobbies too big and wait times bad otherwise. Plus to limit sweats and increase "party casual" vibe. Party games to lean casual generally has a roll for role mechanic

The Preference System worked quite well on F13. If you make your preference is Clown or Human I think it would be very rare that you're placed as the opposite. If you're genuinely happy to play either, as I am, you get a very full experience of the game. Besides I think it is cool not knowing what you'll be spawned as.

Can we stop asking for 8 maps on launch? It took dead by daylight like 3 years to have 8 maps. DBD releases 1-2 maps a year and its the gold standard grossing the most revenues without even a slight competitor. Can every content creator and player be reasonable? 3 maps on release is great, and you'll get 1-2 maps a year. DBD does this, and so does texas chainsaw (TCM). If you mean slight map variations on each map, then I agree. TCM could do better on this front as well.

Everyone who played this "early" played an old build of it. In other words this is not how the game will play at release. It's really a shame and a little concerning that they did not show off the current build.

How does the proximity chat work? Because I was watching the devs play it and one of them mentioned that was in the game but they really didn't go too much on how it works.

@@Warblaaster in the dev clown or victim gameplay they released recently, they said that killers victims would be able to hear each other in game when close to each other. Think it was said at a different time in the video than when they first mentioned it but I did hear them confirm this.

As much as i love The Killer Klowns , this is just another game that is gonna last 1 year . It has very mid potential for DLCs etc for the longevity of the game

this game will last for longer than a year. Friday the 13th lasted for years even after the law suit stuff that caused the game to stop being updated and that game was so much less polished than this. The player base may be smaller after a year but you still will be able to find games easily probably for 2 to even 3 years out

@@soldierswag4884 why is that? Just because killer klowns is a smaller IP doesn't mean less people will play it. Many new games that have no past history or connection to a franchise do just fine. As long as the gameplay is fun and not buggy and the devs continue to make good changes/updates. The game will thrive and people will play it

@@glueman7761 My point is that no horror Asymmetrical multiplayer game survived besides DBD. TCM is still updating the game but its dead for couple of monts now , even with the DLCs . The game survived with a healthy playerbase for like 6 months. I cant even count on my fingers how many Asym games i bought and all of them are out of bussiness, its a shame i bought all these games for full price to just enjoy them for 1 year max , but it is what it is

Once the players have learned the maps i feel like itll just be a speed running nightmare, the game will be over by the time the clowns collect a couple of cocoons... i hope im wrong, but im probably not.

Game design. It'll be the most stable playable version, more features and QoL creates more bugs. Which they iron out on runup to release. :)

Probably won’t get it, these Asymmetrical games tend to last only 1 year or less especially if it’s licensed to a particular movie. The content becomes limited. Games like Evil Dead, Alien vs Predator, Home sweet Home, RE:Resistance, GhostBusters, Last Year, VHS and etc. all had the same fate.

I still play ghost busters on and off, the only way a game is considered dead is when a game has so little activity it would take hours for a match, and that new content eventually just dry up. Texas chainsaw is still going despite many saying it would die off, people still play it plenty and the content is still growing Edit; you mean the old ghost busters game? And considering how old aliens vs predators is of course their dead, their old.

Yeah this games animations seem floaty and not as crisp as TCM. However I love the KK movie and it will be fun trying it out! 🔥🤡
