The point of the game is to upgrade ur base to become better defended. But there's the issue. There's nothing to defend against

I’ve been playing for a good 4 years now since it was in early beta game preview and it can take a while to understand and learn to play but once you do you’ll find how amazing this game truly is

As someone who loves this game and has had it since 3-ish years ago, Jackfrags described it perfectly: “Tarkov for Babies”. I don’t see it as an insult but a more casual version of another great game

Hey brother. Not a battle royale. Battle royales consist of about 100 players that all drop from the sky on a fixed map as the zone closes to a small circle whilst looting (usually with no guns to start) and pvping as you go. BRs do not allow you to keep loot. BRs do not have a character progression system. Some example of an actual BR genre would include Fortnite, COD, Apex Legends, PUBG, etc. Unfortunately every game out there that consists of having a gun & pvping does not qualify as a battle royale. You’re probably pretty confused on the game for a lot of reasons, but not even knowing what genre the game you’re playing is would probably attribute to that.

As an old, slow idiot, I am given pause... but looking for a replacement for DayZ... this is a contender. Sick of zombies and getting sick.

Who wants to play vigor with me

I play with zero weapons, like it's a survival horror game. I try to move around the map like a ninja, grabbing all the resources I can, and leaving alive. I've had many, many situations where I use my ninja stealth hiding skills to hide from squads that run, literally, right by my character. You are a million times better than I am in regards to the gunplay judging from the few clips you've shown.

Vigor is one of those games that honestly take a decent amount of play time to fully get the hang of and also get more comfortable with but once you do, the game becomes different than any other. With some weapons like the PM pistol or other small round weapons sometimes you can actually see the bullet flying through the air which I can't think of another game that has that. Vigor in my opinion is an underrated game that will probably never get more attention than it has now but still love the game and it's community😁✌️

Started in season 6. And always played solos. Never really made friends or teamed up with anyone. I’ve been off and on playing here and there. I finally found all the trolls after being down 4. Also two guys added me while playing lone wolf. Come to find out during the match. They were the ones who survived , grabbed the air drop, while I picked up an air drop that somebody found but died near the proximity. After the game we all got into the party and had a big laugh. Now I’m playing everyday with these guys and we all need just one Vinyl to get the badge. It’s real fun when you play with friends!

Glad your having fun. The gamplay loop is very simple with you trying to get as much mats as you can and leave to upgrade your base. The airdrop is supposed to be what your aiming for as the crates are the best source of mats, blueprints and weapons. The better you upgrade your base the more things you can create and passively generate (even the in game currency itself). However because they buffed 5v5 elimination mode it makes encounters boring now as you can get much better crates much easier playing that mode.

Glad you made this video. I had this game sitting in my download queue for months. Just didn't look interesting enough to try from the short trailer, but this looks a lot better than what I was expecting and didn't even realize it was an extraction shooter like Tarkov, which I've always wanted to try.

Loot the times safe or barred house safe to get cassette tapes and listen to them they give you a hint as to the back story and stuff going on in game and what’s going on in the world of vigor.
