I know this will probably get lost but I just want too say what this song means too me... I found I Prevail at the worst time in my life. I guess I had always battled with sadness but I never truly knew it until this past summer... I somehow convinced myself that I was worthless and that everyone would be better off without me. These feelings came out of nowhere... as I lay there I decided I was gonna take me life... I started too type goodbye too my girlfriend and then realized I couldn’t do this too the ones that loved me... two weeks later she broke up with me... I had told no one and now she was gone... but I started listening to trauma... this song in particular... all of these emotions had hit me like a “hurricane”... I kept I Prevail on repeat for at least a month... then I couldn’t handle listening too any music because it reminded me of my pain I was feeling... throughout the past months I slowly started too listen to I Prevail again... using them as my anthems... too see that I was getting better... today was the first day I could listen too this song again... it reminded me of how strong I am. Too anyone going through anything. It gets better, I know it’s a cliche but it does... I never thought that I’d make it past last summer. Yet 8 months later I’m here and happier than ever... I’ve found a new girl... I got professional help... and I’m just happy too be alive. Never give up, never give in. Always fight your demons and never stop. I just want too say... thank you I Prevail... for being what got me through. Thank you for helping me get my life back... never give up. Always fight too get better

Hellyeah same, I’ve been a fan of I Prevail since they released their version of Blank Space in 2014 and everything they’ve put out since then has been amazing. Sucks that they had to cancel some shows cause of that virus going around but it was a great call to make not just for their health but for us the fans too.

I think I will be the first ever to say this. Nobodies voice has resonated in my soul and touched me in such a way since Chester Bennington. Brian & Eric, both of your voices touched me the same way Linkin Park did. Keep this up, hope your next albums will be like Trauma, or hell, even like this song right here. You're not too young to feel these things. It's perfectly normal to feel out of control during your teens and going into adulthood. You are worth something and you have value. I am now 17 and sometimes I go back to my comment and kind of cringe, but it has made me realise how much I have changed as a person (for the better!) and now I really strive to be the best version of myself, and I can finally say that I am happy! I'm just so glad that I didn't give up and I'm so grateful for the support and kind words that I have received. I hope for the best for you in the future, and make sure you take care of yourself!

Every single I Prevail song just hits different. The Trauma album really helped me through a time when I just couldn't see any way out. I have everything that would make a person happy, but I still feel so empty, but listening to their songs makes me feel like I'm not alone in feeling this way and gives me hope that it isn't forever.

I prevail got me through everything in life and i was finally going to see them live 24th but due to this pandemic and lockdown it has been postponed which is better than being cancelled. They were on the radio when I had decided I was going to commit suicide by crashing my car. I had turned on the radio to drown out my mind, and Crossroads had just begun. It was the first time hearing I Prevail and I was listening to it with everything I had. It truly saved me, and I've had the pleasure to see them live twice since then. I highly recommend seeing them the first chance we get, especially after the new video for DOA. 🔥

This is a beautiful showcase of the softer side. I personally am so attached to Eric's vocals, or maybe it's the anger his parts portray after Brian beautifully sings the pain that brought the rage that made me wanna scream! Lol Either way, great job guys! Song is beautiful both ways. 🤘🤘

I unfortunately discovered this masterpiece of art a little late. Used to be a hardcore rock fan, but after Chester took his life, things became a lot blurry. After that, I never felt that much of attachment to metalcore, but I suddenly discovered this song when I was at a rock bottom stage in my life and my powerlifting career was almost over after a bad injury in my right shoulder. Thank you I Prevail for getting me back into track. I recovered and became stronger than ever, nevertheless got a job as well after the tech layoffs in 2023. Music heal souls❤

Better than the original. This is why I love rock music. I think it's misinterpreted that everything in the genre is hard and fast paced, false for exactly this reason. A combo of hard and soft like this one is flat out awesome. Love the vibe the acoustics bring to it.
