Today I go magnet fishing and decide to put my GoPro on the rope to see the POV of my magnet fishing magnet. We go magnet fishing in one of the clearest lakes in America and the footage is unbelievable! #CleanStreamMovement

CLEAR! For me that was one of the best podcasts. It was very interesting to see under the water, even when you didn't get anything on the magnet. I know that is the reason you do this, but seeing the clear water as apposed to many of the other places you fish in that are full of car parts and road signs shows what the water ways could be.

I miss the clear water in Fla. There was everything in the canals when we lived there. Cars, boats (sunk), swing sets, washers, etc. Thanks for cleaning it up.

So I've prototyped a contraption to hold the GoPro and magnet so you can livestream through the GoPro to see what you're pulling up. The GoPro is also on a secured pole so it doesn't wobble or anything. Works great and I've found some cool stuff because you can actually see what you're fishing for and avoid rocks and stuff. Good stuff man!

Dang Brice love the view of the GoPro. You should make a 3D printed mount for the GoPro so you can mount it on the rope.

Clear. There was some amazing footage with that setup, even if the actual haul was light for the day. I would be curious to see more of this kind of video, and I know there can be some challenges with image quality in murkier waters. Keep up the good work!

I love the underwater video! You can see everything! I believe the last place you were fishing at was Malone Florida, I was there during Christmas but it was 16 degrees out and it was too cold to throw a magnet!

It's only a 7 second delay when livestreaming. Not sure how far the GoPro could get from your tablet or smartphone Hotspot before it would lose connection though. I've had my phone mounted on my metal detector to monitor my livestream footage and livechat

You could mount it to some hose clamps on the roap or some pipe clamps. Then if it comes loose mount a metal plate to the go pro so you can fish it out with the magnet.

What would be a neat invention is to make a wireless camera that attached to the Rope so when you magnet fish you can actually see what you're packing up
