Someone's probably told you this already but just thought I'd mention that the smart steering can tell if you have a mushroom and tries to guide you into little off road shortcuts. That's why it sometimes puts you in the off road :)

Quick tip for anyone who tries this. Only use mushrooms when you turn long corners as you only slow down in speed when you take a turn around a corner. Just remembers there’s always a possibility you could loose that mushroom before getting a chance to use it as sometimes people have lightning of the boo power up

I was playing with my sister one time, and she had to leave to go to an event. BUT I turned on auto steering and auto acceleration against hard CPU’s in 150 cc and she actually got second 😂
