I put a constant layer of castor oil over one side of my face and body for 7 days. Did castor oil improve my skin complexion?, improve the appearance of moles?, reduce wrinkles and lines? Grow back hair? Did I experience any side effects of castor oil? What interesting things did I also learn about castor oil?

Dude! Put the oil in your hand then rub both hands together and THEN apply it to your face. And rub it in. Like lotion. It will be absorbed within about thirty minutes to an hour. I do this every night after I take a shower and by the time I go to bed, my face feels soft, but not oily at all. I’ve been doing this for about six weeks, and my sunspots have almost completely disappeared, and my face looks much more even toned. I’ve had several people ask me what I’m doing and why I look so rejuvenated. I had a seborrheic keratosis on my cheek that was getting larger and more pronounced. I started soaking a cotton ball in castor oil and then applying it to the spot with a Band-Aid, and leaving it overnight. This thing had been on my face for years, and I swear within four days it was completely gone. Now there is no scar and you can’t tell anything was ever there.

Castor oil made a difference in my skin overnight. My skin was MUCH smoother and plumper. The only place I don’t use it is under my eyes, it actually made them puffy. Other than that, I LOVE it!! I have been using castor oil for about 10 months. I started putting it on my knees. My knees are bone on bone, and I've had my knees taped for 7 years. I haven't had my knees taped for over 7 months now that they don't pop out of place near as much now. I put it on my face every night. It has improved my tier production in my eyes to the point that I can wear contacts now. I haven't been able to wear contacts for 28 years. If I have a stomach ache, I put it in my belly button, and it will be gone in 10 min. All my fingers got slammed in the garage door and the pain was so unbelievable I could hardly breathe and they throbbed so badly kept putting castor oil on them within 30 min the pain had subsided enough I could go to bed. The next day, I put it on them several times, no pain and no soreness!! I know it wouldn't have been that way without the castor oil! Castor oil is an amazing healer!!

as a 49M, using castor oil nightly for a year, the results have been nothing short of miraculous. in particular, eyelashes and brows are much fuller, eye bags are gone. of particular interest- dry eyes are gone (castor oil is n ingredient in many eye drops). from what i’ve read, it helps open tear ducts and as a result, i can wear contacts two hours longer than i used to. i experienced pretty noticeable eye boogers when i woke up for about a month and then they stopped. keep in mind that since it takes your body two months to produce new skin, the real substantive changes from using it will take some time, but ill tell you- the compliments just started rolling in. i’ve been asked if i botoxed on more than one occasion. it’s cheap, effective, and will simply be part of my regular skin care routine for the remainder of my days. pro tip: if you use it after the shower and then do a five minute red light therapy session, it absorbs into your skin much quicker.

Unfortunately, doing anything for your skin for just 1 week is like nothing! The skin renews itself every 28 days, so you need AT LEAST 1 month to see a difference. And the best thing is to do a skin treatment for 3 months, especially for the stretch marks. Also, you should massage the oil into the skin for a few seconds/minutes, not just slap it on. That's when you see the greatest effects. Of any treatment. Maybe you could try this again using these guidelines? I'm pretty sure you will be astonished at the results!

Castor Oil is known to have "drawing" qualities. One of the reasons it is recommend to only buy CO that is packaged in a glass jar is because if it's in a plastic jar, it's drawing properties can leach chemicals from the plastic. This 'MAY' be what happened to your nose. If you had a small cyst or something like that, just under the skin the CO could have drawn it out. Any time I get a blemish on my face I get CO on my finger tip and rub it into the blemish. It is most usually gone or going away by the next day.

I've used castor oil on my hair roots (as a night mask) alongside vitamin A and rosemary oil and I have a wonderful strong hair that a lot of people envy. It's also breakage resistant, and whenever I stop for example in summer, my hair starts literally shedding whenever I brush it. I also apply it every now and again on my eyelashes and they stopped falling off so much, which is a win in my books. I've suffered with hair loss and eyelashes loss and I don't anymore and the only change I've done was the castor oil. I've always eaten healthily lots of veggies and moved my body daily, and it helped with other important things in my overall health, but not with hairloss at all. After years of using it I can tell you it is a magic pill but bare in mind you won't see many results for the first three months or so, you gotta be consistent and patient, like with all natural methods. The hair masks must be massaged, brushed through delicately. The hair should be held in a shower mask or an isolated mask to provoke pore opening. The mask should be kept on for at least 2 hours, that's why I go to sleep with it. I apply it every 5 or 7 days, depending on how much free time I have. The shampoo must be done twice as it's fatty on the hair and you wanna take it off. Bless you ! hope you'll try and...you'll thank me later

@@cristinamaria2059 I started using CO for pain relief on my joints hips, knees, lower back, belly & belly button, eyelashes, eyebrows, & thyroid/neck. Only once did I rub it into my scalp. On any given day I can grab a handful of my hair, pull & come away with a handful of loose hair. Clumps go down the drain, for 5-6 years. Just now, I pulled it all together, like making a ponytail & only 1 single hair came out. The difference is amazing. The only thing I _could_ credit would be the CO I began using in late March or April and it wasn't even on my "list" This makes me wonder how much difference does it make, based on where it's applied? The recent internet craze is not a 'new' trend... it was merely re-discovered. I use it daily EVERYWHERE. I start with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream because it has so many qualities to help my skin. Then I follow it with Organic Heritage Store Castor Oil... MIXED WITH CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. I found that emulsifying these two together in my hand and then applying it absorbs into my skin more and is less "sticky" and this locks in the moisture from the Hydro Boost. I'm 51 and am told all the time I look like I'm in my 30's. It works! Keep using it every day and I'd love to see your results after 3 months!

Your nose was a clean out of what was below the skin. I am at least 5 decades older than you - and I put it on my face and it cleaned out some deep down things - my face was actually way worse for several months getting it all cleaned out. In fact, I got the healing going good and stopped using it for a month or two - then went back to it. Age spots started to peel away - they are deep when you are my age - they are clearing up but they represent a lot of aging in the total body. Have some patience - your nose thing was a good sign that it is working. You have to clean the body out - if I were you at your age I would keep using it. It is great on the lips too. My lips started to have something like white dried stuff coming out around them - all I had to do was rub hard to get them to come out. Just realize that in order to get crud out of the body - well, it does have to come out - starting at your age - you should avoid having a buildup of toxins. And your scalp - if you use it on your scalp - of course (maybe an hour) prior to when you shampoo - if it wouldn't allow toxins to clear and keep that nice head of hair you have. You are onto a good thing here.

This was interesting so I had to stop and watch! Love the fact that your a guy and tried this. Ok so I know nobody will read this but in case you do here’s what I experienced. Im 56, I started with some normal facial lines but the lines around my eyes and forehead were starting to deepen. I started using caster oil about 6 months ago. I did not like the consistency or the fact that it felt like it didn’t truly and completely sink into my skin from day 1. By the way I only put on before bed every night and use “the ordinary” and “Cerave” hyduralonic acid and face lotion daily. any way I ended up mixing equal parts of castor oil with “the ordinary” Rose Hip oil. Applying generously to a clean face nightly. My results have been great! My lines have softened and some disappeared all together, my pores are now much smaller and hardly noticeable and my complexion overall is smoother and looks healthier. I’m super impressed with my results. The only other thing I love especially in the winter is shea butter. I may go back to that in the winter to put on top and to seal the rosemary/castor oil mix. ❤❤❤

@@kimpariso6765 oh I hope it's going to work for you as well. So mix it with vitamin A and a bit of rosemary essential oil. You might also want to add vitamin K, because it's really also second to your personal needs. Also you shouldn't use aggressive shampoos and you might want to leave the mask on, isolated with a plastic cap overnight and do it minimum 2a week ...keep in mind you might not see any results even for 6 months . When applying a scalp massage for blood flow should be performed. My sister lost a lot of hair due to bulimia and with a lot of patience applying these masks, and also a healthier life style, she got her youth hair back . We don't use aggressive shampoo as well and we don't use any products with harmful ingredients on our skin/scalp because an unhealthy skin is of course an unhealthy hair follicle. The first new follicles should grow stronger after about 6 months and if you keep going you might have a thicker and stronger Hari within 2 years. Every person is unique so be patient please. @@KimFsharpHarp you can add a tiny little bit of rosemary oil in the castor oil too, alongside vitamin A pure oil, like myself. But the night mask with the plastic film on my head works for me. I hope it could work for you too. Just so you know, you don’t have to put it on so thick and you can rub it in a little bit . as well as one week is not long enough for anything to see any kind of results unless it’s magic but it does help with lines and stretch marks. That being said, I have experienced irritation with castor oil, so I started mixing it in combination with other products and that has really helped to relieve the rashy and itchy areas I was getting when I initially started using castor oil . BTW you don't have to slather it on, a little goes a long way. So mix it with your other facial cream you have & massage it in. You shouldn't be able to to rub your face & come away with greasy fingers, no one walks around looking like that, it's not a night mask. Also I found when I mixed castor oil with other products I couldn't detect any smell of the oil. Some people find the smell of castor oil unpleasant. Warm up a wash cloth with hot water, Put the oil on your face and put the warm wash over the oil. And it all depends on the oil you buy it needs to be pure. It's also good for Kidney stones, Bone spurs, lumps, Acne, Constipation, your eyes, hair Growth, etc. Take the oil put it on a clean hand towel, Put more oil on your skin-> stomach, kidney area, etc. Place the heating pad over the hand towel.

Don't apply Retinol to your eyelids, and don't go in the sun without SPF 50 though. I use BOTH, but the CO just before bed. Castor Oil also draws impurities to the surface and then they come out. A week is definitely not long enough.

It doesn't have to be caster oil to get those results as long as it's locking in moisture. It'd respond well to fading new scars as they heal better when kept moist.

Worth watching for the strict environmental conditions during this research. The painters tape should be a mandatory part of any scientific research.

This made me belly laugh out loud! I got so caught up in the oil research and comments I'd forgotten about the painters tape.

Have also heard some people put castor oil packs around their midsection over the liver area, to detoxify it.

With any skin regimen always try the regime for 30 consecutive days. Also, try using less. Place a small amount in your hands and rub them together to warm it up and then press it into the desired area. After distribution massage the remaining into the skin. It does take several minutes of gentle massaging for the skin to absorb. Have you ever tried coconut oil, cold compressed and organic? It's not as heavy an oil as the Castro. Thanks for sharing.

It took away my dark spots but it was about 3-4 months. I continue to use it. I am planning on mixing it with Siberian buckthorn oil, aloe, coconut, tea tree and of course castor oil.
