I took a ride on the Pacific Ferry with my car.
It was my first experience spending the night on a boat, but the waves were relatively calm and I was able to spend a comfortable cruise.
I would like to go on a different ship again.

My wife and I took the overnight cargo ferry from Liverpool to Dublin some years ago. The ferry had space for some cars as well as trucks. We could have just sat in the lounge overnight, but we decided to pay extra for a cabin. It was great! Free breakfast as well. We did the same on the return journey. Can't remember the price, but it was well worth it.
