As someone who works with sound frequencies, the QK75 has a lower pitch sound signature and the Zoom TKL has a higher pitch (think of saying "oooo" vs "eeee" to think of the difference) based on these examples. A lot of people may think of that of thock vs clack. Although the QK75 has a lower frequency, it is louder vs the quieter Zoom TKL in terms of volume. Aesthetics and layout size between the two are pretty much like everything else in this hobby, preference based!

Damn, they both sound really really good. I think I prefer the slightly deeper tone of the QK75, even though I prefer the TKL layout of the Zoom.

One thing I'd like to see is how you maintain your keyboards. Like, my space bar stabs get super clanky sometimes but I can't remember what you use in a blunt syringe to make it less clanky. It'd be nice having that in 1 video.

I literally just bought my first keyboard a week ago. I quickly fell into a deep, DEEP rabbit hole, and now I am obsessed. I’ve learned so much in the past week, thanks to this channel. I just wish I watched all these videos before I bought the HyperX Alloy Origins 65. It’s not hot swappable, and all I want is to make a thoccy boy. 😭 Seriously though, I have found a hobby, and that is huge for me. Thank you!!!

I ordered the Zoom TKL because their shipping time is considerably faster. I’m going to change the poron switch foam out for PE foam and then tape mode the PCB. Personally the QK75 sounds better because I like the PE foam sound over the poron sound from the Zoom. That’s subjective tho, and it can always be changed to match your preference as I will do :)

I know this video is pretty different from your other style of videos, but I like this laidback, build-with-me style a little too! It's a nice calm keyboard build too and it was nice seeing everything come together. Hope you feel better soon though!

I cannot wait for my qk75 to arrive. The layout, the knob and the unique gasket mount did it for me.

My girlfriend decided she didn't want a high-profile TKL anymore after I had already ordered the Zoom TKL. I decided not to cancel because the thing is so pretty I kind of just have to have it. It's easy to justify with Bluetooth. It can be both of ours in case she ever changes her mind about the kind of board she wants.

Ended up ordering both considering how cheap they are. Glad we have premium options in this price range while offering tons of features.

The QK65 is my dream board, and I missed out on that GB, so when the 75 went up I was all over it. That said, I do really like the Zoom TKL and hope I'm able to snag it very soon.

There is no argue which one is the best. They may sound different, but they are both amazing. It's great they both exist and that this kind of quality becomes more accessible.

I just bought the Red Dragon K552 with Red switches as my very first Mechanical Keyboard to replace my Razer Cynosa membrane keyboard. I'm wanting to upgrade out of the red dragon within hopefully a month or two as i dream to have a keyboard with Cherry MX red switches, but i am currently thinking about a Corsair K60 RGB Pro Low Profile Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, then later on maybe a few months more upgrading a third time to a New SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL 2023 Edition, which for my price budget will be hard to get to but i'm determined on saving money for it, anything better than the Apex Pro TKL 2023 will take me forever to save up for probably, and i'm sure it will carry my gaming though 2023 nicely proably until 2026 if i'm lucky probably.

Both are great, but I like the Zoom TKL sound better than the poppier sound of the the QK75.

I was hoping you could give some recommendations: - These are the specs I'm looking for: - TKL - Linear - Hotswap - Black case and black keycaps - Metal plate - no ping - sounds good - most importantly and likely a deal breaker me, it needs to be low latency for fps shooters - I have considered the GMMK TKL, the Ducky One 3 TKL, and the Keychron Q3 but wanted your input on the best keyboard that would be the most satisfaction for my money.

Zoom website says OOS, same for the zoom 65. Good thing I’m not really in the market for either of those keyboards. Love them both honestly, now I am just trying out different kinds of switches to see what I like best for each board. Important call-out is qk75 has an 8 degree typing angle. The zoom has 5 degree typing angle. The zoom is much better for me in that regard

The KT-1255 keyboard is one that I can't live without... No other keyboard can replace it for me, because I'm so productive, when I don't have to take my hands off of my keyboard to reach for mouse. However, I'd love to know of any alternatives, I keep an open mind for a change.

Do you have any recommendations for someone who wants a hot swappable keyboard but refuses to buy anything with a non-replaceable battery? Rechargeable batteries need to be properly maintained and even still will degrade over time and need to be replaced. I have also had a number of devices with non-replaceable batteries where the battery was defective and needed to be replaced much sooner than normal. It also poses a problem if you ever want to store the device for long periods of time without using it. It's just a huge hassle. Isn't there something I can use my rechargeable AA batteries in?

I like the "Pop" of the QK75, I don't really like how muted the Zoom TKL is.

Is it just me or the mechanical keyboard peple has some hidden vendetta against the numpad? It's almost impossible to find a 98% mech or something more condensed with a numpad. It's either full size, TKL or smaller.

QK75 is loud because it has an included PE foam sheet lol. (Like the QK60 and 65). If you don't want it loud, just don't use the PE foam.

I personally like 75% layouts over TKL. That being said, I’d only get the QK75 if the angle is steeper than my GMMK PRO.

The Zoom TKL is such a good bargain and definitely ticks all the boxes for a good and beautiful TKL. I'm talking about the EE version. Though, if you dont use Print Screen exc. and you like the knob, then you can go for the QK75. I'm Team Meletrix here!
